Reborn

In a midnight black room, a young student could be seen shivering with a horrified look on his face as he stared at a pair of bright red eyes that resembled blood. However, the young student had yet to notice those pair of eyes.

"Oh my God, There's no way that's right I died. I died. I actually died. But if I died where am I?" The Young student repeated as he was looking around in the room as he calmed down slightly.

"Lin Zhao~" A slightly high pitched voice called in a motherly tone.

This caused Lin Zhao to stop and freeze as he slowly turned around. Just as he saw the pair of red eyes he dropped to the floor stuttering "Wh-who ar-r-r-e you?!"

"I am the one you call God." The high pitch voice replied and with this reply, you could suddenly see fangs and a sadistic smile appear below the pair of red devilish eyes.

"G-God?!" Was Lin Zhao's response.

"That's right as you are already aware, you have died. However, that does not mean it's the end for you." God announced breaking the eerie silence.

"What do you mean?" Asked Lin Zhao

"You did a valiant deed saving those people from the fire therefore I will give you a reward." God replied.

"What is the reward?" Asked Lin Zhao.

"You have three wishes and are able to be reborn in any world of your choosing," God simply replied.

"In that case can I choose any world?" Beseeched Lin Zhao.

"Why of course." God answered.

"Hmm, it has always been my wish for this to happen so I had already thought of many worlds and what wishes I would have to go with them but when it actually happens your mind goes blank." Lin Zhao thought to himself.

He then continued to stay in deep thought for a couple of minutes before he spoke, saying, "I would like to enter the 'Rebirth of the Urban Immortal Cultivator' world."

God then replied with a question asking "What are your three wishes?"

"Wait can I first ask what my limits on these wishes are?" Lin Zhao countered with his own question.

"Why of course. The limits are no immortality, no cultivation boosts, no instant godhood and nothing unrelated to the world also you cannot wish to change your race, blood etc at your own discretion but you can choose to be a certain race but that is after you have made your wishes." God answered.

"In that case, my first wish is to have every inborn talent." Lin Zhao replied.

"Haha~ that's acceptable." God replied.

"My second wish is to have the ultimate techniques." Lin Zhao replied.

"It will be done." God replied.

"My last and final wish is to be a diety infant." Lin Zhao replied.

"Oh~ I see, therefore you're guaranteed to reach godhood. Now pick your race and the like" God replied.

A window then appeared before Lin Zhao to which he customized freely. The final outcome was a young man with long black hair, bright. shimmering amber eyes with dark eyeliner underneath. They had delicate and smooth facial features, that of a prince, with sharp eyebrows and a well built but slender body.

"I have finished." Lin Zhao replied upon smiling at his creation that he had spent at least 4 hours on.

"Haha~ now what is the blood and race that you wish for?" God asked.

"I would like to be human but with dragon heritage." Lin Zhao replied.

"Oh~ why did you decide to stay human?" God asked.

"I would like to keep my roots in one way or another." Lin Zhao replied.

"In that case, I will now tell you how you will be transmigrated. You will be transported into the wilderness and will have Chinese documents that identify you as an orphan. You will need to find the money yourself along with a place to stay. Then finally you are transmigrated the same time Chen Fan has the realisation of being reborn again." God announced.

"I understand." Lin Zhao replied with a determined look.

"I wish you a great journey and look forward to the next time we meet." God replied with a calmer smile than the sadistic one as Lin Zhao suddenly disappears.

"Whoa~" Was Lin Zhao's initial reaction upon gazing at the vast forest now around him as he realised he now had vast amount of knowledge and could already feel Qi around him.

"I guess I better cultivate first before anything." Lin Zhao continued as he then sat down in a lotus position and began to cultivate with the 'Heavenly absorption' technique.

A few hours pass before a bright light shoots up into the sky to which Lin Zhao slowly opens his eyes and said with a surprised but satisfied expression "I have broken through to the mid foundation establishment in one go when it's my first-time cultivation. This means I'm in the peak of the inner strength realm to earth's standards."

Lin Zhao then walked to a nearby tree and punched it seeing it left a large fist mark he then thought to himself, "I guess I should learn some martial art's, this 'Dominating Dragon' Martial technique looks great and it requires the blood of a dragon so this is great for me."

He then continued to practice until it becomes morning to which he once again sat down and cultivated as it reached mid-day.

"I'm in the peak foundation establishment! It seems cultivation martial arts can also help to further cultivation and is why practitioners fight one another." Lin Zhao thought as he was cultivating at a terrible rate.

"I guess I should now think about my plans on what to do in this world." Lin Zhao thought to himself noticing it has already been a day since he has come to this new world but has only stayed in this forest...

A/N: Author here, just wanted to say that I didn't check for anything wrong with this chapter as I am just too lazy to do so but hope you liked it. Also, the main character only spent all day cultivating and learning martial arts so that he wouldn't have to fear Chen Fan as he made his way into society.
