Chapter 10

"What?" Isa asked, confused.

"You're the rarest demon, you have the power of spirit don't you?" the demon replied.

"Yeah, wait what?" Isa questioned.

"You can get powers by your blood touching another human or demon with powers," the demon said. "My powers are mind reading, teleportation and scent. I can tell if people are related or I can tell if people are hurt if they're a couple miles away, that's how strong my scent is, I'm not allowed to use mind reading though."

"Yeah, and that's cool, sucks you can't use those powers," Isa said, wondering why the demon wasn't attacking her and saw the demon had a cut on her hand. "Are you okay?"

"I-I," The demon stuttered looking at her hand. "I'm not attacking you because," the demon then put her hand on Isa's shoulder leaving a scratch with her nail and a spot of her own blood. "Bloody shame I can't use it."

"Isa are you…?" Tanjiro stopped when he saw the demon, with her hand on Isa's shoulder.

"Isa?" the demon questioned. "That's a nice name, mine is Amaya, also I should get going, nice seeing ya, bye." The demon then disappeared.

"You okay?" Tanjiro asked, nervously.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Isa said, scooping up the demon's blood with her finger and wiped it on the scratch that the demon left.

"What was that?" Tanjiro asked.

"My father was killed by Kibutsuji, and she gave me her powers," Isa replied, letting the demon's blood seep into her's.

"What are her powers?" Tanjiro asked.

"Mind reading, teleportation and extremely advanced scent," Isa explained.

"That's nice, what do you mean by extremely advanced scent?" Tanjiro replied.

"Well, um," Isa started, then started running.

"Hey, wait up," Tanjiro followed quickly, but Isa was a bit too fast.

"Inosuke," Isa cried as she entered the room he was in.

"What are you doing here," Inosuke replied, looking at the demon on the ground decaying.

"I-Inosuke," Isa looked at Inosuke's wounds, which were pretty bad.

"Geez, you are pretty fast," Tanjiro panted, stopping in the room.

"I'm fine, don't worry about…" Inosuke started to fall, but Isa caught him. Zenitsu then walked in.

"What's going on?" Zenitsu asked.

"You are not fine, you're losing a lot of blood," Isa replied. "You didn't notice the big gash on the side close to your back."

"Shut up, I said I was fine, let go of me," Inosuke shouted. "Put me down."

"No," Isa shouted. "Here," Isa said, laying her hand on Inosuke's wound.
