"The Strange and Dangerous Threats in PARSLOV City"

News of the incident quickly travelled among the powerful people in PARSLOV City, when Alex murdered two Tower of Yin Spirits members and saved Erza. The fact that a young necromancer apprentice was able to kill two strong superhumans, one of whom was the famed blood mage Orson, was nevertheless astounding despite Alex's orders for Erza to keep the existence of the Holy Son a secret from the police and the special bureau.

Due to this incident, Alex, who was previously unknown, has become well-known. After healing from her wounds, Erza has started dropping by Alex's house frequently and wants to work with him to continue her research into the Tower of Yin Spirits. Alex is apprehensive, though, because of the potential risk.

Despite his initial hesitation to investigate the kidnapping of Lelisa by the Tower of Yin Spirits, the GOLDERT family are committed to looking into the matter. However, they recognize the potential danger of the situation and plan to carefully consider their approach. In the meantime, Alex has been working to familiarize himself with the newly recruited troops and has developed several sets of response plans for various combat situations.

Additionally, he has spoken with Dr. Fauci and created a special set of battle strategies based on his experiences. Although Alex thinks he has enough power to deal with commoners below the official level, he is aware of the hidden dangers and unpredictability's of PARSLOV City, such as the weird force that killed Baron Albert and the adventuring team and the entity that affects the weather. He believes that these threats cannot yet be properly addressed with his current power.

The idea of being "strange" in our world does not always imply superiority to the extraordinary. In reality, being unknowable, incomprehensible, unrecognisable, and unanalyzable is what makes something odd. It is no longer strange once a strange has been fully exposed and can be categorised into a certain group, such as supernatural beings, monsters, goblins, ghosts, or demons.

Ella had pledged to assist Alex in locating the Tower of Yin Spirits' base of operations, but Alex had made no headway in his search. He is unsure of what has happened to her because all he has received from her is a letter asking for a few more days off.

In the past few days, he has noticed that Viscount Ashby's demeanour has become increasingly grave, indicating that he is facing a difficult and potentially dangerous situation. In response, Viscount Ashby has sent the Viscountess and Lelisa away from PARSLOV City under the pretence of returning to their family, and Alex suspects that he would have sent his son away as well if it were not for some reason preventing it.

This has made him realize the severity of the situation, as even the normally calm Viscount Ashby is showing such concern. He believes that there must be a greater threat at play, more powerful and deadly than the Tower of Yin Spirits, causing this reaction in Viscount Ashby.

Alex attempted to ask Dr. Fauci for information but was surprised to learn that the cunning old man had already left on an exchange visit to Lepnons University. As a private consecration of the GOLDERT family, Dr. Fauci' departure may be seen as lacking in loyalty, but it is understandable given the potentially dangerous situation and the fact that the relationship between the two parties is simply a commercial employment arrangement. Alex senses that the crisis is approaching as Dr. Fauci' departure and the lack of information from Ella further contribute to this feeling.

Just when Alex was losing hope, he received news from Ella and met her at the old Peony Cafe. Upon seeing her, he is surprised by the changes in her appearance. Ella's face is pale and her normally sunny and fit demeanour has been replaced by a morbid gloom, which gives her a strange charm that is vaguely evil and not suitable for children.

Alex realizes that Ella must have experienced something significant and asks her what has happened. Ella offers him a drink and orders a spirit for herself, while he opts for a cup of coffee. He expresses concern for her well-being and asks if she is okay.

His eyes narrow as he considers Ella's words and recalls her previous strength and agility. He asks if it is appropriate to discuss the matter at hand. Ella takes another sip of her drink and expresses frustration about being transformed into a vampire, or a member of the noble blood family. Alex is not particularly surprised by this revelation, as he had already suspected as much based on Ella's appearance and demeanour.

In this world, vampires are not necessarily secretive, but rather are a subspecies of humanoid creatures with extraordinary blood and dark longevity. They are sensitive to genetic defects and certain attributes, as well as sunlight and light magic, but their sensitivity to the sun does not result in death upon exposure.

Furthermore, it is rumoured that in ancient times, blood races were able to conceive and reproduce naturally, but in recent centuries, the reproductive ability of the entire race has declined and they can only reproduce through bloodline infection, which involves changing the genes of ordinary people and transforming them into lower blood races in order to purify their blood and slowly upgrade and evolve. He is not particularly surprised by the fact that Ella has become a vampire, but he is curious about what led to this transformation.

Ella proceeds to explain that she had received information about someone who had visited the secret base of the Tower of Yin Spirits near PARSLOV City and wanted to confirm the location with that person before sharing it with him in order to maximize her profits. However, she encountered something strange while seeking out this insider.

While recalling the events, Ella describes feeling dazed and smelling a strong fragrance, causing her to lose the ability to think. Despite being conscious and able to perceive her surroundings, she was unable to control her body. She describes the feeling as relaxed and weightless, as if she was about to fly, and her usual worries were forgotten, making it easy to become fully immersed in the trance.

However, Ella's will be strong, and she fights to maintain her sanity, which ultimately saves her life. When she awakened, she found herself in a damp and dark cellar surrounded by piles of corpses, some of which are rotten and smelly.

Ella believed that she encountered some kind of strangeness that feeds on human souls or consciousness and that the cellar is where the remnants are discarded after being consumed.

She estimates that she was unconscious for three or four days but managed to escape the cellar and find that it was located in a remote alley in the city, connected to a sewer well. The next day, she discovered the changes in her body and realizes that the blood clan has infected her bloodline.

Despite trying various methods to solve this, she is unable to reverse the process and completes the blood conversion in just two days. As a result, Ella is left feeling helpless and has to accept the fact that she has become a vampire.

Ella is relieved that she does not live in the Holy Papal State, where she would be burned at the stake for being a dark superhuman. Instead, she lives in the more tolerant Kingdom of Lorenzo, where she can simply go to the local special bureau to file a record as long as she follows the laws of the kingdom.

Alex finds Ella's story strange, as three strange events have already occurred in the small town of PARSLOV City. One involves the strange strength that killed Baron Albert, which is believed to be above the official level. The other two involve strange weather-changing powers and the ability to absorb souls, both of which may be at the official level. It is possible that the soul-sucking individual is a high-grade blood race.

Alex broke up with Ella and left the cafe to visit an old shop owned by a one-eyed man. He asked the one eyed about a black-market dealer named Roddick, who had trapped Ella with a fake magic pendant and knew the location of the secret base of the Tower of Shadows. Ella has changed significantly and wants to distance herself from the situation, so she asks Alex to handle it.

Alex believes that with his identity and resources, it should be easy to get information from Roddick. In return, Ella gave Alex 50 gold and ended their relationship. Alex meets Roddick, who is tall and thin with a dishonest appearance, with the help of one eyed. The man has a sly look in his eyes and seems untrustworthy. Alex signals for the one-eyed man to leave and speaks with Roddick alone.

The old one-eyed man nodded in understanding, gave Roddick a sympathetic look, and then closed the door, leaving only the two of them in the room. Roddick suddenly felt the urge to flee, as the young man in front of him exuded a sense of extreme danger. Roddick's instincts, honed by years in the underground black market, told him that this person was a threat.
