Chapter 7

  Kevin stuttered. He couldn't believe what he just said. He quickly walked away.....but not before seeing Elliana's blush grow deeper. She couldn't help but stare at Kevin. Was he telling the truth.....? Or was he playing with her emotions? Can he be really trusted?  But she knew that she mustn't judge anyone until she knew them better.....especially since she knew he didn't mean any harm. He may be weird, but....He does seem to care about everyone he comes across.....he seems nice...even when he seemed a little shy. 

Elliana sighed.  She had been worried that Kevin may turn out to be dangerous because of her. But now she knows that he isn't....He seems different.....in a good way....and although she doesn't fully understand how, but somehow.... she believes that she can trust him...or at least....maybe....she can. 'Shoot!' I got up fast putting on the hood. Then goes fast to her house with the moon flower. 'That was close.' I thought to myself. I almost forgot that the sun was coming up....his company made me forget about my worries for some time. He went through all the trouble to get me the moon flower.....how sweet..' I couldn't stop smiling softly. 'No one was this nice to me in years.' I thought to myself. I went home and made some breakfast. I spended the rest of the day home to hide from the people. In the night when everyone was sleeping i went out and flew up in the sky. I began to sing the lullaby as every night. I see that the people with troubled dreams finally fall asleep. I smiled to myself knowing that they all will have nice dreams. When i was done singing and watching over the people i landed on my favorite spot. I decided to sit down on the grass before laying down on the ground. I closed my eyes enjoying the cold wind the goes through my hair. 

I could hear the sounds of the wind in the tree's leaves. It sounded wonderful.....I enjoyed the breeze as well. There was something calming about listening to the rustling of the trees and the birdsong of the forest. I lay there for awhile enjoying the peace and comfort...forgetting about my troubles for a short while. 

Just then a bird suddenly called out. This is the first time that ever happened. All other times when a bird called out, it was followed by the others. I opened my eyes to check what is going on but...there was nothing. I frowned.  That was unusual. I've never heard that many birds calling at once. It made me a little worried. 'What in the world is happening?' I thought....as I listened to them. They continued to call out. Some of them I knew and some i didn't. They kept calling for someone, and there's no one here but me....what the hell is going on?! ' I thought to myself getting even more concerned. 

Suddenly my attention turned back towards the woods. The sound of something crashing came from the woods. I stood up to get a better view and saw.....something very strange....a big dog appeared running through the trees. It was barking loudly at me. I froze on my spot not knowing  what to do.
