Chapter 11

I looked back up at him. 'Promise?' I asked. 'Promise.' He said smiling at me. I smiled back nodding my head yes. 'Good. Now get dressed. My uncle will be here soon.' He said before giving me kisses on my forehead. 'Why?' I asked. 'Because i want to introduce you.' Kevin answered. 'Introduce me as who?' I asked very curiously. He kissed my head and left with a smirk on his face closing the door behind him. Leaving me confused. 

As i was getting ready, Kevin walked into my room when i was ready. I was wearing the clothes that were given to me and had my hair pulled back. 'Ready? Uncle is waiting.' He asked. 'Yes i am.''I nodded.' So let's go.' He grabbed my hand and took me outside. I was led through a lot of hallways until we reached a big red door. We stop outside it and Kevin takes my hands into his. "Are you scared?' He asked 'Bit....' I answered him. He kissed my head softly and then he opens the door. 

I followed him inside the room. It was beautiful. It looked like everyones dream. Everything was gold, marble, red velvet and glass. There was a balcony that overlooked everything. The king was sitting at a round table sipping tea with a small bowl of fruit next to him. 

When we arrived he stood up and greeted Kevin. They talk for a moment and then they both sat back down and start talking with eachother. 'Do not worry dear, i wont hurt you. But this world is dangerous and full of danger'. The King says. 'I know...and thank you for getting me out of there and the rest victims.' I spoke in a soft voice. The King looked at me and smiled softly. 'I hope im not a bother that i stay here my lord' I spoke in a gentle voice. 'Not a bother at all' He replied back in a warm tone. I smiled a little bit. 'Ok good...so whats going to happen to me?' I ask. 'Your going to stay here with me and Kevin.' The King said while drinking more tea. 'Are you sure my lord??.' I asked shocked. He nods. 'Yes, you are safe now. Nothing will harm you and Kevin will protect you. Thats all i want.' He said. 'So you're ok if i come live here?' I asked. 'Of course.' He said.

I looked at Kevin and he looks at me.

The King stood up and spoke up. 'Okay let's go and tell the staff.' He smiled at me. Kevin and i got up and we all went to the throneroom. The Kingg sat down on the throne before telling a guard to get everyone in the throneroom. The guard did as he was told. Few minutes later everyone that works in the castle came and i hid behind Kevin, not being used to so many people in one room. The King spoke up. 'Today i have brought someone new and special to us.' He said pointing at me. I quickly hide behind Kevin and look up at everyone. They were all looking at me in different ways. Some were surprised others angry and even a few disgusted by when they saw me. I got even more nervous. Kevin smiled at me and kissed my head before he puts a hand in my lower back and starts leading me forward. I was scared that they will kick me out if I do something stupid. I tried not to move my feet which made Kevin chuckle. I look down and feel my cheeks blush and then Kevin stops walking. 'Go ahead' He whispered to me. Slowly i stepped forward and started talking. 'Hello....everyone...it's nice to meet you all....Im Elliana...' I spoke in a soft and shy voice. There were a lot of nods and some whispers around the room. Everyone seems to be a little bit intimidated like i am an alien. But after a while they calmed down a bit, but some people didn't. The King looked at them all and saw how they are looking at me . He stands up. 'Let's not make her feel uncomfortable or self conscious. I think she has done enough talking today.' The King said and sat down again. 

'Hey..its ok. They won't hurt you.' Kevin whispered in my ear to comfort me. 'I hope so....im afraid that i'll do something wrong because they aren't happy with me staying here.' I said looking down. 'They love you Elliana. Don't worry.' He reassured me.
