Even tho i tried to keep my mind busy....i can't help but worry about him...I hope that he is okay. The 3 months went by like yesterday's rain. I got up every morning and greeted everyone in the castle. Maids and our guards tried to ease the feeling of unsure and unknown. I'm rule alone and its cold in the castle without him. But i had to put on a smile when i got out of the castle to our people so they wouldn't get worried. I spend time with the town kids. I help around the elderly ones and help farmers to keep myself busy. Every night i sing and fly above them all to look out and keep our kingdom in peace.

Kevin POV

The war is hard and long. We lost many lives but also took many lives. I miss my soon-to-be wife so much. Richard lost his life to one of the spy's. I can't send her letters anymore. They blocked the road to my kingdom. I want to go back to her and hug her....kiss her head and hear her giggles. But I need to focus on the war. I have to win the war, so I can go back to my Love. I fell asleep dreaming about me and her on our horses, near the lake. It was a nice dream but it had to end faster than I thought. I jumped awake when I heard the enemy run to us. We got up and started to fight back. I used my swords to block their arrows and arrows to block their swords. Our men were starting to fall one by one, and I knew we were about to be overrun if things continued like that. I pushed my troops forward. The enemy tried to surround us, but they could not. We finally defeated the enemy and secured our victory. I went into my tent to retrieve some water and medicine that the doctor had given me and bandaged the wounds on my soldiers. It wasn't very serious injuries. 'Did...did we finally win?' I thought to myself. Just as I was about to leave the tent, a messenger came rushing in, followed closely by another messenger. I was confused as to why they were suddenly running, but as I saw that both of them were injured, I immediately ran to treat their wounds. As I treated their wounds and applied for medicines, they told me that we won. My heart swelled with joy and pride as I congratulated them. Afterward, they left the tent without saying anything else, and I was surprised at the respect the messenger had shown me. I stayed behind and examined their wounds, making sure that they wouldn't die on me. As I stood up again, I noticed that one of the soldiers was looking at me. He looked at me and said 'You my King can go and finally go to your Queen.' I stood there for some time before I got pushed by the other ones that survived to my horse. They kept telling me to 'Go home! Go your Queen must miss you!' I finally snapped back and looked at Samuel. 'Go we will clean up.' He said with a smile. I got on my horse 'Let's go home.' I said to my horse and my horse galloped away. I got very excited to see her again.

It took me two days to get home. When we arrived, it was morning. I passed through the gates and dismounted my horse. The guards took my horse to the stables and greeted me. I greeted them back and quickly walked to the castle. As I approached our bedroom, my heart skipped a beat. I took a deep breath before gently opening the door and peering inside. There she was, still fast asleep. She looked so beautiful. I quietly made my way over to the bed, removing my clothes along the way. I laid down gently next to her and took the blanket from her grip, covering myself as well. I pulled her close in my arms and kissed her head softly, tears streaming down my face. "I can't believe I finally have her in my arms," I thought to myself. I felt her move softly i looked down at her. Her beautiful eyes open up and looks around. Her eyes finally met mine. 'KEVIN! YOUR BACK!' She yelled and hugged me tightly. I chuckled and hugged her back. I pulled her into a passionate kiss. She kissed me back, i felt her tears fall on my cheeks. I rubbed her back smiling into the kiss. After a while, I pulled back. I caressed her cheek and wiped away the tears that were falling from her beautiful emerald eyes. "Don't cry because I'm back baby," I whispered as I cupped her face between my hands. She smiled back and looked up into my eyes. "Welcome back." I kissed her forehead and then rested my forehead against hers.
