Trembling 1
Matthew and Ryan stood frozen after seeing what had just happened before their eyes. Their breaths caught as Lily disappeared from their sight. Now there was only a white expanse of snow in front of them. The people initially sliding down the slope seemed to have vanished into the snow.
"Lily," Matthew and Ryan muttered together.
Matthew ran lightning fast toward the slope. Loudspeakers from the resort asked guests to enter the resort directly. The ski attraction is closed. Every guest in the area is expected to return.
Ryan was about to run down the slope when someone grabbed his hand.
"You'd better go back inside, sir. The officers will immediately start the search," said the resort officer who held Ryan's hand.
"No. I can't go back inside. I have to find two of my acquaintances. They were sliding before the avalanche came," Ryan said.
