The Beginning

In the distance of a forest nesrby a man's voice, not to heavy, but not to light, more of a gentle sounding voice. This voice sounded like it was training hard, the sound of metal against wood through the bristle of the bushes and the leaves of the trees came from a small cabin where a small family lived, a father and his two sons.

"Jax how many time have I told you to cut the wood from the wood pile?!" an old man said coming out from inside the cabin.

A young boy, very much startled, looked at the man walking out. "Y-yes sorry father, I forgot, I was practicing with my sword like a knight should."

The man glared at him and sighed, "Listen Jax, I know how badly you want to become a knight, but we're just commoners, we're never going to be able to reach those heights."

The boy looked at his father with tense eyes, and then suddenly another boy came out from the shack, a bit older then Jax, Jax was 17 at this time and the older boy was 19.

"Jax, listen to Father will you? He's old but he's not wrong, the kingdom will never recognize us."

"Who are you calling old?" The man grumbled

"Just you wait Charles, you too father, I will become the greatest knight ever."

They both looked at him like he was insane. But Jax , Jax was filled with determination, he wanted to climb those heights.
