Chapter six

" 𝘛𝘏𝘌𝘚𝘌 𝘔𝘐𝘕𝘌𝘍𝘐𝘌𝘓𝘋𝘚 𝘛𝘏𝘈𝘛 𝘐 𝘞𝘈𝘓𝘒 𝘛𝘏𝘙𝘖𝘜𝘎𝘏, 𝘖𝘖𝘏. 𝘞𝘏𝘈𝘛 𝘐 𝘞𝘐𝘚𝘏 𝘛𝘖 𝘉𝘌 𝘊𝘓𝘖𝘚𝘌 𝘛𝘖 𝘠𝘖𝘜 " The music blasted from my headphones as I walked down the street to the cafe I worked in as a waiter. It's what helps me buy everything I need considering the monthly allowance my aunt gives me isn't enough. She's a terrible woman.

The money I make at the cafe isn't much but it's just enough to get the things I need.

I took off the headphones as I walked into the cafe, it's never too busy on week days, it's normally just students who come to hang out after a rough day at school.

" Hey Mazie ". I waved to the blonde behind the counter as I walked past her and into the back room. Mazie is cool and we get along really well considering the fact that she's a college student, I can't call her a friend but she's alright. I dropped my backpack on the bench, stuffing my headphones in them. I then changed into uniform leaving the room.

" So how was school? ". Mazie asked as I joined her behind the counter.

" It's high school Mazie, there's really nothing to talk about ". I replied and she chuckled.

" True that ". I leaned my hands on the counter placing my head on my palms.

" It's really not busy today ".

Mazie shrugged. " As usual ".

We stayed in silence, Mazie doing whatever on her phone while I just randomly watched the customers, sipping on their hot cocoa or just chatting with friends.

DING! The bell on the door of the cafe rang getting my attention. I turned to look at it and my eyes widened in shock seeing the three figures walk in.

I immediately ducked under the counter and that simple gesture seem to snap Mazie out of her phone trance. she looked down at me.

" What are you doing? ". She asked cocking an eye brow at me.

" There are three guys who just walked in ". I said to her and she raised her to look around.

" The brown haired with the two guys that look like twins ".

Ivan, Aden and Kegan.

I sighed. " Yes ".

She chuckled looking back down at me.

" Let me guess, you go to the same school with them ".

" Yeah pretty much ".

" And they are part of the popular crowd? "

" Yep ".

" And you have a crush on one of them ".

" Ye- wait what no? ". I scoffed. " No way in hell, why would you even think that? ".

She chuckled. " Because girls only freak out and hide from boys they have a huge crush on ".

" I do not have a crush on any of them ".

" Then why are you hiding from them? ".

" Because I don't want them to see me ".

" Why don't you want them or maybe it's that one guy you don't want to see you, and if I should guess who it is, I'll say ". She looked up again probably looking at them then she turned her attention back to me. " The brown haired ".

Ivan, no way. " I do not have a crush on him or any of them ".

" Prove it then ". She smirked.

" How the hell do you want me to do that I just told you tha- ".

" Excuse me ".
