Thea’s POV
The hush of the room is broken by the entrance of Emma. She wears a soft smile, her eyes reflecting the joy of witnessing our love. However, her expression shifts as she catches sight of us.
"It's bad luck to see each other before the wedding," Emma chides playfully, a hint of concern in her eyes.
She rushes forward to separate us, gently guiding Hudson to the door. He grins mischievously and steals one last kiss before leaving.
As the door closes behind him, I'm left alone with the echo of our exchanged vows. The room feels both empty and full, the air thick with anticipation. I glance at my reflection in the mirror, taking in the glow on my cheeks and the sparkle in my eyes. Today is the beginning of a new chapter, and I'm ready to embrace it.
“Thea, you look so beautiful,” Emma says softly.
“Thank you, Emma. I just wish my parents could be here,” I admit.
Emma gives me a kind smile and crosses the room to wrap me in a hug.
