The soldiers were at first too stunned by the sudden turn of events to process what they were witnessing.
Yet, as moments passed, some of the more observant soldiers began to notice something strange.
"Wait a second..." a soldier muttered under his breath, lowering his weapon slightly as he watched one of the cloaked figures cast an earth spell, sending jagged spikes of rock through a line of parasites.
The figure didn't pause after the spell—it immediately moved to cast another, summoning a gust of wind that sliced through a nearby group of enemies.
"How are they still going? Shouldn't they be running out of mana by now?"
Ren Fulin, standing nearby, narrowed his eyes.
