Putting a fire in the place that can't be burn

Meeara did not know how long she was unconscious. She woke up in the infirmary, different from the last one.

"Are you okay? Linsky has a worried look upon his face. He hated the idea that Meeara got hurt. He called the doctor quickly to attend and check Meeara's condition immediately upon gaining back her consciousness.

"You suffered from body pain, and swollen face. You may also feel tenderness over the injured areas, and rigid stomach. The good thing is there is no broken bones or fractures. You need to take the prescribed medicines. You are also advice to take a bed rest for two (2) to three (3) days. According to our findings you have anemia which can be treated easily with proper medication." Explained the doctor.

The doctor and Linsky talked for about a minutes before the doctor finally leave the room.

Linsky just looking at her. Sitting besides her in the infirmary bed.

She thanked Linsky for saving her.

"You look pale. You must follow the doctor's order, okay." He said.

*thump, thump, thump*

Meeara's hands were trembling down. The man inside her dreams and the reason of her sleepness night was finally here. Linsky was here.

They did not discuss the last encountered they had. She returned all the belongings, and dress she wore during that night. She asked Lugi to send it back to Linsky at Student's administrator office.

After half (1/2) an hour. The doctor gave clearance, hence Meeara can go home.

Then, without hesitation. Linsky carried her again.

"Put me down please, I can walk." She was begging no matter as much she wanted to remain in his arms. She was feeling guilty since it wasn't right. She worried that the people might see them too. It will creates a lot of difficulties.

"I'll send you home."

Linsky putted her down.

"Aw.., it hurts" she slightly bited her lips.

Linsky looked frustated.

He dialed his phone and after ten (10) minutes the other king arrived.

"Dan, Meeara was halfway to the Kings music hall but she ended up into trouble. Cover up this little girl for me, she's in pain. Kindly bring her into my car. I'll go ahead first." He explained to Dan.

"Woahh, I can't believe you! Haha...

We'll support you. Just tell us because we hate big surprises." Dan bullied Linsky.

"Do as I say." He ignored his sentiment and go ahead first.

*Linsky patiently waited inside the car*

This man is gorgeously handsome. Still, she appreciated the way that Linsky looks despite of what she experienced today.

"Come in!"

They were sitting together at the car back sit with almost one fathoms in between.

"Sorry if I came late, you were already got hurt." Said Linsky while looking outside the window's car.

"I can do nothing at school if I want to protect you." He sincerely said to Meeara.

Meeara wanted to ask what he meant by that. Though she had a close idea what he means.

*Phone rang couple of times now but Linsky kept ignoring the calls.

"Do you need to answer your phone?Don't worry. I wouldn't mind."

She had glimpsed of the caller's registered name. It was her girlfriend.

Phone rang again but Linsky decided to turn it off.

"Where are we going? I mean could you please drop me home? I can manage after all, these are only a little bruises, no big deal."

"Yes, I will send you home, It doesn't look like a little bruises for me"

"I feel alot better now, how about you?"

"Do you want something to eat, anything?"

She asked how was he. But then again, he did not response to her questions. Why? when it is equally important to her to get to know more about him. Why he is so secretive that he doesn't want to share any details about his life. Now she understood why he tagged as Mystery Eagle.

"I have a small appetite for foods right now. A hotdrinks will do please, that's all. No need to add another drinks." She laughed at her own joke, she said purposely to loosen up her tension a little bit."

Linsky laughed too.

To her surprised. He nudged her stomach and lastly her face.

"Is it painful?"

"Slightly but I think medicines would ease the pain. Thank you again for saving me. I owe it to you. May i know what happened to those culprits?" She knew, he has gone mad.

"Never mind them Meeara. For sure, they've already paid what they did to you. What happened to them is not the concern here, my concern is you."

They picked up the coffee somewhere alone the way.

"Going back on the drinks you've mentioned. Looks like you want to pointed out something, don't you?"

"Oh, do I? Do you think so?" She looked straight into his eyes trying to read his mind.

*Awkward moment of silence*

"Meeara, the truth is I dont want you to get into trouble especially because of me. I don't want you to be involved with me."

Linsky pointed his heart.

"It likes putting a fire in the place that can't be burn! But this stupidness was quite powerful this time. All I did was to follow. Please protect yourself."

Finally, Meeara arrived at their house. Linsky instructed Dan to escort her inside. Wherein Dan's car was following their vehicle.

She wanted a clarification. She wanted to throw questions. She wanted to understand him.

Upon entering their house. She acted normally, like there was nothing happened. She doesn't want to give worrisome news to her mother especially that she's fine now. Surprisingly, Linsky knew where she lives. For the second time, a King brought her home.

Awhile ago, the doctor found out that she is anemic probably it's due to her lackingness of sleep.

Though life is full of adversity. Bad things kept on happening. She will be okay. She was thankful to the Kings especially to the man she loves for today's helped.

Apparently, she needs to take a break for a two (2) days.
