CHAPTER 58
I was minutes away when I was greeted by no less than a hundred rogues.
The first ones were in human form. I immediately started tearing them apart, tossing them aside like they were nothing. I broke bones, snapped necks, punched until I saw blood, even ripped out a few hearts as they kept coming at me.
It looked like a massacre. They realized they were dying quickly and started to attack in numbers, five sometimes ten at a time. I shifted and immediately started aiming for the kill. I was ripping throats, pulling off limbs piece by piece, growling furiously.
I could feel she was weak but if I could get to her I knew she would be okay. I heard a battle howl in the distance and I recognized it instantly. It was Mike. They were the very first rogues I met on my journey. He and the others had come to help.
