CHAPTER 17

　　Martin Vega

　　How did my life make sense all of a sudden? After Jacklyn died I never thought I would ever be happy or whole again. Luca was the only thing that kept me going after her death. That is until I met Samoan.

　　She was amazing. I had met her a few weeks ago at a bar. I felt a connection and asked her out. We were taking things slow because she lost her husband a few years ago and neither of us wanted to rush things.

　　The more time I spent with her the more in love I fell. My wolf liked her as well which was shocking. It didn't matter that she was human. She made me feel like a love struck teenager again.

　　When Luca left I decided it was time to face reality. I thought I was destined to forever be alone. I felt I had no one anymore.

　　I was so proud of him for going after what was rightfully his but that didn't stop me from missing him. My brother would have been so proud. I knew he was thought of as a nerd at school but there was always a leader deep down.
