Chapter 16

I paced around my room for a few hours with Jamie before I went to Saryia's room. I wasn't going to go in there I would just look in. She wasn't about to rape me again. I knocked on the door before I opened it. Saryia was sitting on the love seat in a really hot purple bikini. I gulped seeing her beautiful long legs hanging over the love seat. She smiled and stood up.

"It has occurred to me that I have been too harsh on you. For that I am sorry. I have forgotten how to be loving and passionate. If we are to love each other then we should get to know each other and... have other fun activities besides sex." I glared at her and growled. She sighed and in a flash she was in my face.

"I don't want to hurt you anymore. I want you to love me so we are going to have an da... activity today." Did she just say date? I really don't know what to say. I decided to mess with her.

"Um did you just ask me out on a date?" She blushed dropping her gaze. She just blushed! What is going on with her? This is getting really weird. She cleared her throat then looked back up at me.

"Don't push it Hatspehut. Put on something we going down to the lake." I nodded and left her room. Jamie must have had an impact on her. The Saryia I know wouldn't be taking me out on a date. I went to my room and put on some shorts and a tank top. I put on a sports bra under it just in case I got in the water.

"Ready?" I turned around. She had the around her lower body. I timidly nodded.

"So that's what your wearing? Very cute." She grinned showing off her fangs. Her delicate hand took mine and we walked to the kitchen. She picked up a picnic basket and smiled at me. Whatever was in that basket it smelled good.

We walked through the garden getting closer to the lake. I looked back at the mountain thinking about how free I was for a day. It felt so good, but it was bittersweet because Jamie and Odin weren't there to enjoy it with me.

"Daydreaming are we?" I looked back in Saryia's eyes. She shook her head then pulled me along.

"Allow me to give you some advice." She put her arm around me, "To be truly free, all you need is love. Love sets us all free." She kissed my head and we continued to the lake. We got there and Saryia set out a picnic blanket and a beach towel. I helped her spread out the blanket. We sat on it looking at the sparkling water. She took out some sunscreen handing it to me. She got on her stomach.

"Well, you going to help me out here?" I looked down at the bottle then nodded. She took off her top pulling her hair to the side off her shoulders. I put some on my hand then put it on her back. I softly rubbed it on her back, shoulders, and legs.

"You missed a spot darling." I blushed knowing where she was talking about. I spread the sunscreen on her butt. I rubbed it on there slowly. Saryia got a nice ass, I had to admit. She turned around after I was done taking the sunscreen out of my hands. I tilted my head watching her put a little in her hands. Saryia then put a dot on her finger then put it on my nose. She is being playful now?! She giggled rubbing the sunscreen on her stomach, neck, front of her legs, and her breast.

"You can stare all you want darling. I don't mind." She said smirking at me. I ripped my eyes away from her breast making her giggle.

"Your turn. Get on your stomach." I looked back up at her and shook my head no.

"How bout I take care of my legs and you get my shoulders and back." She nodded placing the sunscreen on my back. Her touch sent a blast of heat up and down my body. I never felt that type of heat before. It excited me, it kind of turn me on too. Her touch felt so amazing, she wasn't just rubbing the sunscreen on me she was giving me a massage.

"Does that feel good?" She whispered in my ear. I nodded rubbing the sunscreen on my arms. She finished and wrapped her arms around my body resting her chin on my shoulder. I picked up a rock and threw it at the water. It skipped five times.

"Show off. Watch this." She said. Saryia picked up a stone and tossed it. It went straight into the water. I snickered and she lightly bit my neck.

"Ouch!" I whined. She laughed letting me go. She got up and walked up to the edge of the lake. She looked back at me. Her light blue eyes pointed to the water. She slowly walked in the water submerging herself in it. I stood up then took of my shirt. I walked up to the water putting my foot into it. It was nice and cold. Saryia's head came up out the water.

"Come on Haty, the water is perfect." She gently tugged on my ankle. I slid into the water. I shook in response of the cold water on my skin. Saryia came up on me like a sneaky shark wrapping her legs around my waist. I stood still as a statue as her arms went around my neck. My knees felt weak when her lower body grinded against me.

Saryia's wet lips touched my goose bumped skin. My hands went down to her hips. She smiled at me making me shake. I expected her to bite me or do some messed up shit, but her lips lightly touched my cheek.

"What was that for?" I asked her. She kissed my forehead. She smirked looking into my eyes.

"This is meant to be a nice activity right?" Saryia's eyes were very calm and nice. It looked like it was a completely different Saryia. Perhaps this was the old Saryia that Jamie was talking about. She tilted her head trying to read me. Her legs unhooked from my body, her arms still around my neck.

The water became still as our movements stopped. We gazed into eachother's eyes breathing lightly. Her eyes twinkled like stars. I was in a trance, lost in her gaze. She leaned in to kiss me. Without having any control of my body I began to lean in too. My stomach growled causing ripples in the lake. I blushed knowing that she heard that.

"My poor dear I forgotten that you haven't eaten in an week. Come I got a nice lunch for us. Odin was nice enough to tell me some of your favorite foods." Saryia pecked me on the lips before she lead me back to the picnic blanket.

The smile on her face now didn't make me shake now. It was completely different. It was like she was really happy. She was humming a song as she set out the plates. It sounded like the one Jamie sings to me. She pulled out a medium sized pot and two little bowls. She also pulled out a small chicken, a loaf of bread, and a pie. Not just any pie an apple pie!

She looked at me and giggled.

"Your drooling and you haven't even eaten anything, Haty." I wiped the drool from my chin. I sheepishly smiled. Saryia poured some of the soup in my bowl. Tomato soup, she was right some of my favorites foods. After she had served me everything I bit into the chicken. It was just the way I like it, tender and warm. I looked back up at Saryia.

"Saryia can I ask you something?" Her eyes twinkled again. Her eyes were very pretty. I guess I never noticed because I was always running from her.

"Ask me anything you like my darling. I will try to answer them as best I can." I nodded.

"Why do you and Jamie don't get along now?" She sighed and took a sip of the lemonade.

"Jealousy I suppose. I didn't think I could get any girls I wanted because they would always run into Jamie's arms. I thought that I wasn't as attractive as Jamie." I laughed and her eyes darted up at me.

"Really Saryia? You are very pretty, I dare say sexy. You and Jamie are extremely beautiful." Her eyes went back to light blue. She blushed and giggled.

"It wasn't always that way. Jamie was prettier than me when we were in Salem. Did she tell you about that?" I nodded then smiled.

"Well if what you say is true, if Jamie was prettier than you, you caught up with her." Her eyebrow raised then she shook her head. Oh shit what did I just say?

"Anything else you want to know about?" I nodded then took in a deep breath.

"Mercy, how did you know where she was?" She smirked. I was waiting for her to say something smart, but she gave me a straight answer.

"When the war started, Mercy was like my right hand since Jamie didn't want to fight. She and I caught up, made up, and had a little sex. Nothing major." My eyes widened. She smirked.

"What did you expect me to stay celibate? Jealous darling?" I shook my head no. I rolled my eyes and ate some pie. Saryia chuckled.

"What else do you want to know about her?" I slightly growled and looked at her again.

"Everything."

"Okay, after Jamie and I turned we would drink from the livestock. Jamie would always check on Mercy before we would go back to the woods and hide. Mercy was grieving for us, mostly Jamie. They were so in love. It sickened me sometime, but it was cute. One night Mercy snuck out to visit our graves and she saw that they were dug up and destroyed. Jamie came out and told her that we were now vampires." She shook her head.

"After that Mercy became our donor when the people locked up the livestock at night. After she would do that for us, she and Jamie would... you know. While they were off having sex I would try and master the new powers that I had. One night Mercy said that she wanted to be with Jamie forever."

"So you turned her?" She nodded. Her eyes started to turn white.

"After I did, Mercy told Jamie that she wanted to have wealth and power. Things that we didn't have at the moment. She left Jamie, breaking her heart into pieces." Her hand tightened around the glass.

"I got so mad, I beat Mercy in front of the towns people. One they were shocked to see that Jamie and I were alive, two they were really shocked to see that Mercy had fangs too. I would have killed her if Jamie didn't stop me. I let Mercy go and she left Salem, didn't see her until the war started." I listened feeling my wolf coming out. I restrained her and looked back at Saryia. I put my knees up to my chest rocking myself back and forth.

"Why you bring her back Saryia?" She pulled me to her putting her arm around my shoulders.

"Cause I want you. If Jamie is free to charm your pants off and steal your heart then there won't be a chance for me." I growled then stopped. She sighed then made me look at her.

"I'm sorry." She said softly. I looked at her confused. What the hell was she saying sorry for?

"I'm sorry that I killed your dad. I'm so sorry that I hurt you and your brother." Tears fell from her eyes. I was in complete shock. I never expected her to break down and cry.

"Please forgive me my love. Forgive me." She sobbed into my shoulder. I rubbed her back. I couldn't believe this. Saryia was crying, apologizing, blushing, being playful, and being nice. This had to be the weirdest thing that has ever happened to me here.
