I cried sorrowfully on my bed after I heard the news . My parents we're marrying me off to an unknown man.I knew this day would come and I dreaded it . Here I was today sobbing and facing reality…

My parents were royals but they got banished for doing something the town people called abomination.

The act what always been unknown to me .

We lived in a three storey building at the center of an unknown town . I never got out of the house I was more or less a prisoner. My first time of leaving the house will be the day I will get married

I lay flat sobbing I heard a soft knock on my door

I guess it was my mother because she was the only one that entered my room she felt sorry for me, but she couldn't do anything about it since my father made the decision and his decisions were final

She pleaded with me to open the door fo"darling she said softly

"I know this is hard for you but bear with me. Everything will be fine. This is not the first time this is happening and it won't be the last time."

"Okay mom is not like I have anything to do about this. Would you please excuse me now"

She hugged me from the side and kiss my cheek and told me everything will be fine

And then left

now I was alone in my little facing my faith
