One day in Tokyo, Japan, inside a small convenience store, a store clerk was inwardly complaining about the monotony of his life.

The man had messy black hair and an average-looking face, with dark eye bags as evidence of long nights spent playing games. He had just stayed up all night, and now, in the middle of his part-time shift, he felt exhausted and hopeless.

"Haah, to hell with my life," he complained softly, feeling like no one was listening.

He is Jin Takeru, a 26-year-old man who is single, works as a convenience store clerk, and spends his nights playing games until late.

A man who feels his life is meaningless, Jin often dreams of a more colorful life with a woman. But in reality, he is stuck in a boring routine and cruel reality. He blames himself for wasting his youth, especially during high school, where he preferred to be a master loner rather than socializing. Without friends or girlfriends, the world in Jin's eyes was gray and empty.

"Khahaha... No, don't~"

The sound of the joyful laughter of the high school sweethearts who had just entered the store made Jin's heart ache even more. Hearing about other people's happiness only added more burden to his already tangled heart.

"Ugh, I wish the world would just end!" he thought in despair.

Before long, something unexpected happened. A strange earthquake shook the ground, making shelves sway and items fall to the ground. Jin felt a strange vibration run through his body, and in an instant, the world around him changed.

"This isn't what I meant when I said I wanted a change," Jin thought sarcastically, as his vision began to blur and his consciousness faded.
