I'm the only survivor

Later in the afternoon, I was transferred into a spacious room with a more comfortable bed, much to my relief. Also, I have met my cardiovascular specialist, Dr. Dave Langley and advised me not to stress myself so too much movement is not yet possible for me. I am also to be put into sleep after six hours of being awake so my cardio can have the time to rest. I didn't complain nor gave comments due to the fact that my chest aches a bit when I breath out so I have agreed right away. Plus I can feel the dizziness coming after hours of staying up.

Mr. Jones had finally arrived minutes before six in the evening. He didn't come directly into my room. Instead, this large but descent looling man in black suit came in respectful manner.

He informed me that his boss is with Dr. Mallady and will see me aftwards. He's also nice to offer me foods but I am so anxious to eat anything. I refused his offer in a nice way, of course.

Mr. Jones is not ordinary, I concluded. Looking at this large man who looks like a bodyguard and calls him 'boss' with respect is far from ordinary. Now, it is clear that he's not a doctor nor a caregiver. I presume, he is a politician or a lawyer.

But it doesn't matter what he is. I need to speak with him. I still have an hour before my rest, so there's no need to rush and worry about the time.

Nevertheless his meeting with the doctor is taking longer than I expected. I became anxious again. Large man decided to take his post outside, leabing the door wide open for his boss. My guess was, he felt awkward just by sitting near the door while my eyes follow his every movement.

I stared at the wall clock above the flat screen tv. Forty minutes remaining time before my sleep. I closed my eyes to readjust them against the ultra bright lights of the room but immediately opened when I heard the very familiar voice of Mr. Jones.

"We need to talk." His face was void with emotions but I can see clearly that he is undeniably handsome.

So this is Mr. Jones. He's young and really intimidating due to his intense gaze and prominent jaws.

He walks inside the room and took a sit on the wooden chair beside my bed.

"I can only remember my name, if that's what you wanted to know."

He sighed before speaking again. "Yes, Dr. Mallady told me that is why I am here to tell you something or things,"he paused, probably to give me chance to talk but I didn't so he continued. "Your parents are gone."

Oh my god!

"You were with them when the accident happened and you're the only survivor." By the time he stopped talking my heart rate is already speeding up, my ears rang and Mr. Jones's face became a wall of black dots.
