The Magician of the Straw Hats

On the eve of a rainy storm, a young couple was seen walking alongst the side of a river.

"Darling~ we should go back already its getting late" said the young woman.

"No, we still haven't found your necklace" replied by the young man.

"But..." She said.

"I'm not going back until I find it... and I know that its something precious to you as its the only thing that your parents left behind" the young man responded while looking at her with determination.

"Ah~ this is why I fell in love with you" she said as she looked at him lovingly.

Wahh~~ wahh~~

Then out of nowhere a sound of a crying baby was heard.

The couple paused and nervously looked around and there they saw a baby in a basket floating down the river while crying.

They were in shock for a bit and immediately dashed towards the river as they grabbed the baby and put him down on the ground.

Wahh~~ wahh~~

The young woman embraced the baby as she hummed a song to calm the baby down.

And it worked as the baby started to fall asleep.

'How cute' the couple thought as they observed the sleeping prince.

"What do you think happened to him?" she questioned as she looks at him.

"I don't know but it can't be anything good as judging at the fact that he was left abandoned in the river to float away" he said with a sad look.

"Darling~ you don't know that... what if some accident happened to his family causing them to left him behind " she replied while glancing back at the baby as she continues to hummed the song.

"Well it doesn't matter now, the main thing is what should we do to him?" he asked.

They both discussed as the baby suddenly woke up and cried due to the noise.

"Hah~ why don't we continue this at our house" he said as he bent down to grab the basket.

"Yes that would be great" she agreed while muttering that she needed a hot bath due to her being wet from the rain.

"Huh?" he stated.

"Hmm~ what's wrong darling?" she asked as she walks toward him.

He turned around and showed her a shiny necklace.

"Isn't this my..." she responded in shock.

"I found it stuck on the side of the basket" he said with a smile on his face.

"Thank you~" she responded as she rushed to hugged him.

"I can't believe it was stuck to it~ how coincident is that" she said while feeling a bit of surprise.

Even he was surpised as well as he glanced at the baby on his wife's hands, it feels as if they were fated to found this baby boy.

"How about we go home now" he stated as he put forward his hand towards her.

She smiled and nodded as she took his hands while they started to walk towards their home.

6 years later

"Kaito! breakfast is ready" a beautiful woman shouted as she tidy up the table.

"Okay mom, I'm coming~" a young voice shouted back as he opened the door.

Kaito Kuroba, a 6 years old kid wearing a white shirt and black shorts with dark blue eyes, a pointy nose and a dark brown hair with fringe that ends above his eye came out of the door and walked towards the table.

"Hey mom!" Kaito greeted towards a mature beautiful woman.

Elena Kuroba, 27 years old wearing a white blouse and black long skirt with a very curvy body, brown eyes and a long deep black hair that smoothly runs down towards her back.

"There you are~ why don't you be a dear and bring your father here" Elena said as she started preparing the breakfast on the table.

"Alright I'll bring father here" Kaito said grumblingly as he started to walk out of the house.

As he exited the door out of his house, he was greeted by the sight of wooden houses as the villagers walking past his house saw Kaito and greeted him.

"A lovely morning to you Kaito" said an old lady.

"Goodmorning brat" said by a buff dude with an axe on his shoulder.

He nodded his head and greeted them back as he walked towards a forest at the back of the village.

As Kaito was walking in the forest towards his father's location, he started to enjoy the scenery as he breath the fresh air and as the wind faintly brushed past his face and hair.

'This is nice' Kaito commented as he kept enjoying the relaxing walk.

Suddenly a noise of a wood being chopped down was heard straigth ahead of him.

When Kaito heard that, he smiled and immediately knew who it was as he started jogging towards the sound of a wood being chopped down.

"There you are dad" Kaito greeted as he came out of the trees.

Benjiro Kuroba, 29 years old wearing a gray sleeveless shirt and a red short with a muscular build, brown eyes and dark brown hair of medium length that is messily combed backward, making it sticks outwards.

"Hmm? what are you doing here Kaito?" Ben asked as he put down his axe beside a tree trunk.

( N/A: Ben is short for Benjiro, I just shortened it to make my life easier. )

"Mom called me to tell you that the breakfast is ready" Kaito replied while looking around.

"Oh then I'll finish this up first; in the meantime why don't you take a stroll around to pass time" Ben suggested as he started to grab the chopped logs.

Kaito nodded his head as he started to walk on a random direction.

Rustle~ Rustle~

'Hmm?' he looked as a cute white rabbit jumped out of the bush.

"Why hello there cutey pie" Kaito said as he bent down and patted the head of the rabbit.

Squek~ Squek~

After he finished patting the rabbit, it started to turn around and ran back.

As he was about to walk back toward his father, he glanced back at the rabbit and suddenly paused as he saw a weird looking fruit hanging at a branch of a tree in the direction of where the rabbit ran away.

"What the... is that what I think it is" Kaito muttered excitedly as he started to rush towards it.

When the weird looking fruit is finally at his hands, he started trembling in excitement as he immediately took a bite out of it with no hesitation.
