Damn, it looks like Auriel was able to notice the power boost that Shelly has been given the moment she saw her. It will be interesting to read how things will play out in the next chapter now that Shelly has denied Auriel's statement of her being corrupted.

I like that Auriel and Carol were able to spend time with each other during their walk. It was nice to read. A mysterious figure has appeared to aid Shelly in her time of need. It will be interesting to see how the duel will play out now that she has received something that will boost her powers.

I have to admit that I am impressed by the way that Shelly swiftly acted to turn the narrative of the attempted assassination of Princess Evelyn in her favour. I look forward to reading how the talk between Auriel and Shelly will play out in the next chapter.

Evelyn and Amara really are increasing their efforts to gain Auriel's favour. God thing that Lilith was there to stop the two candidates from making the Goddess more uncomfortable than she already was. Looking forward to reading how Lilith and Carol will punish Sherry for the harm that she caused Auriel in the coming chapters.

Uh oh, Shelly looks like she is planning something nefarious against Evelyn with that smirk that she gave her. Hopefully she fails in implementing them. Now I am curious to know how Lilith and Carol will go about remedying their current predicament in the near future.
