Chapter 4: Rise and shine No face

"No face! I thought I told you that I would be the one grabbing Liddy's stuff. You were supposed to write down her combination so I could unlock it!" I avoid eye contact so I'm not troubled with an imposing glare. A few moments later two of his accomplices appear staying the usual two steps back away from him...

His name is Vick short for Vector. I despise him the most overall the bullies I've encountered. I stuff my hands in my pockets and sigh. "I'm sorry. I couldn't just help the shitty stalker Stalk! In fact… OH MY GOSH! YOUR STALKING MY BEST FRIEND." He gives me a sharp look hoping I'll pipe down so the faculty doesn't hear. Soon a crowd surrounds us and with a smirk, I continue on. "Oh, but of course after giving you lunch money, Doing your homework, and, washing your gym uniform, you'd think I'd help you with this sort of thing. Sorry, I may have a no face but I'll gladly put one on if it means it'll get you to stop looking through Liddy's window while she's being tutored by me." The crowd goes silent and a dark aura begins to surround Vick as his accomplices keeping backing away until they bump into the wall. Caught off guard, he grabs me by my shirt sending me flying upwards abruptly. "Listen here, nerd. You have gone too far accusing me of doing that to the president. I'm pissed and unless you have evidence I have the right to beat you to a pummel." I pause for a moment to make it seem more suspenseful. Then I casually say "What more proof do you need then a recording of you from Liddy's security cameras hidden in the tree you were perched on. Her parents are famous doctors so they're very cautious of people like you." His face goes pale and from the corner of my eye, I can see a teacher writing a note down on her notepad I'm pretty positive that it has Vicks expulsion written all over it. "Since there always busy, I'm tasked with looking over footage! and guess who stuck around for shower time." Before I can continue( or rather get pummeled). Liddy squashes through the crowd right as Vick drops me to the ground. "Ummm, perhaps I missed something?"she says perplexed as to why I'm on the ground "Oh no It's alright! Y-you continue on! G-goodbye Nick!". Liddy shrugs and the crowd begins to disperse although the chatter remains, and Vick is spotted being escorted to the office. "So, I'm guessing It's been a busy morning?" I Chuckle as me and liddy begin to walk towards our classroom. "Anything in the mailbox?" I ask curiously. "Yes Actually, two new students, There names are Tsuki, and, Akuma." "Odd names." I reply with. "Well I guess we'll find out if they're oddballs on the inside too won't we!". I smile at her kindly as we walk in and take our usual seats right next to the window second to back. I set down my bag, which I had been keeping over my shoulder and open my desk finding the neatly placed binders, pencils, and, notebooks. On the other hand liddy opens her desk and a massive wave of stuff seeps out

Of her desk. I flinch as pencil rolls right on to the hand I had harmed that morning. Liddy doesn't seem to notice so I leave it be so she won't become suspicious. Mr.Finn walks in and our classroom goes silent. Soon after he reads off the morning announcements, until finally he mentions the new students. "Following up on our class trip, it seems as though our principal wants to expand our class a bit more, since we have the least amount of students." The class begins to whisper in excitement debating how many we'll get and, what gender they'll be. "You May come in now he beckons into the hallway. Soon A boy with medium pink straight hair walks in with a cold and emotionless glance. "My name is Akuma, I hope we will all become good friends." Then he takes his seat right next to the girl behind us. As per usual she's writing something in a criptic language, her brown curls flying in front of her face as she writes. I also know that she was admitted here only a month ago due to an accident no one has heard of. This interests me so I look for her every now and then in the hallway so I can talk to the people she knows to learn more about her. But surprisingly, this girl always wearing headbands and colorful jackets, knows no one and is never around the hallways.Right after the odd boy sits down Mr.Finn begins to speak once more. "It seems our other student is running late… Adelina, you are excused." The girl behind me grabs her things and scurries out the door, although after now knowing her name, it sorta feels like she's someone I'm familiar with. Just as she goes through the door,

A distant voice begins to echo through the hallway. "WAIT I'M ALMOST THERE! PLEASE DONT CLOSE THE DOOR." Mr.Finn sighs, walks outside the classroom and shuts the door. I'm pretty sure he's scolding her for running in the hallway, yelling and disrupting other classes, and, of course tardiness. That seems to be his favorite form of punishment. Liddy finishes stuffing her desk back to its messy self, and turns towards me eager to speak. "I think that girl might be the one." I blush like a tomato and are extremely caught off guard. "W-what in the slightest has made you think that!" She smirks at me knowingly. "She's late, by the pitch of her voice, she's exhausted, and also sounds kinda cute." I fold my hands on top of my desk and burry my face into them, leaving only my eyes. Liddy continues on smiling as Mr.Finn walks in. "Students meet The seemingly Late because she forgot her shoes, Tsuki." I lift my head slowly knowing I'd be scolded if I decided not to. As soon as I see her I nearly fall right out of my chair. She gives me an imposing glare as to shush me before speaking. "Hello! My name would be Tsuki! I like manga and Ice skating, Uhh… Also I'm from japan and just recently moved Here! There's no accent because I have American Relatives and normally stay awhile whilst with them, so english comes easy to me now. Anyways I hope we all get to know each other well." She walks over to us and sits down right next to me. Class begins and I lean over to Liddy as Mr.Finn starts up on our homework (me and Liddy already finished This semesters homework because she Didn't understand any of it so we used the homework as a guide.) And I ask her "was that desk there a minute ago?" She leans over and she begins to examine the desk and Tsuki "No… Did you move it? She eyeballed you beginning of class by the way, Do you know her?" I look back over at tsuki and she ignores me this time writing down the homework answers. "Well…" I say doubtfully. "I kinda met her in one of my dreams." She blinks in confusion. "Mr.Brown, I see that you've been sharing some intel with Ms.Harbord, shall you Solve the following problem for us, or share your oh so exciting conversation?" I squint at the problem he has laid out, and almost laugh. I get out of my seat and walk up to the board. I can feel the classes doubtful stares but I just ignore them. The stench of the expo marker irritates me as I flawlessly solve the problem. The marker makes its last squeak and I quickly sit back down in my seat to not draw out How long the teacher tries to take a comeback to his defeat. It's funny how he's like an NPC resetting every time I log off or you could say leave school and come back the next day. The other students are players as well as me and liddy. After a few seconds of silence the class resumes, and the day does on.
