Chapter One Hundred and eleven

The bothersome woman came inside a little bit too quickly, "Oh the maid, she was sent away by you last week ", she said frantically and a little too quickly for he had not demanded an answer from her. Why was she being like this, he somehow felt like this Bella held great importance to him but then, how could he fire her suddenly, was he really going to believe that. He looked at the woman and a surge of energy fueled his rage, "Who said you could come in? ", he asked her suddenly and she was about muttering something when he yelled for her to leave his sight. She scampered away and at the back of his mind, something stung him, if she was his wife as she claimed, then he should not be talking to her or treating her that way but then, something about her seemed to make his skin crawl.

"Man, you shouldn't have talked to her that way you know, she's your wife remember ", the one called Diego said to him while Charlie raised an eyebrow. "Wife you say, I thought they were divorced ", he said getting irritated, Jay became confused. "Well, yes they were divorced until last week when Jay got her pregnant and asked her to move back in ",Diego replied. Charlie could not understand it, he looked at Jay for answers but then, what answers was he to expect from a man whom could not even remember his own name. He looked back at Diego since Jay's gaze was also on the guy, "When did all this happen? ", Charlie demanded and Diego frowned briefly. "How would you know when all you care about is that little golf club of yours ", the latter spat. Golf, the word seemed to tick off something in his mind. His head really hurt badly but then he caught flashes of a woman whose face was really blurry walking with him to a golf place and suddenly a stinging pain ran across his head. He held his head in his hands and let out a yell, spontaneously, the two men were at his side trying to assist him, someone was screaming for the doctor and then he began to feel hazy and his eyes closed. He had fainted.

It was a little about an hour later that Jay opened his eyes again, everywhere was really quiet. "I see you're awake huh? ", he heard the voice of the good natured doctor. He rose up gradually and the doctor said he should take it easy. "How long have I been out? ", he asked the doctor. "An hour I guess but really, why do you have to stress yourself trying to remember, I told you your memory would return gradually ", he said and Jay looked up at him, "Really doc, you expect me to sit my ass here without even trying, I can't even remember my own name or my own house and you want me to stay put? Have you ever thought of what I'm feeling right now, a vegetable.. ", he began yelling, flaying up. The doctor immediately tried to keep him calm, "Listen Jay, I'm human and I understand just how you're feeling and what you're going through right now, but then, if you keep up with this, you'll eventually loose your senses too. Remain calm and every lost memory would gradually resurface ", he told him calmly. Jay did not like the idea or sound, not in the very least. He felt something was really wrong and that with much delay from his side would lead to things getting out of hand but then again, the doctor was right at least about one thing, he was going to loose his senses if he continued pushing. Resting on his pillow, he closed his eyes deep in thought, he was going to get to the root of all these things even if it would take time. No matter what it was going to result to, he was going to remember.

That evening, her father returned from work a little bit late than he used to, her brother affirmed. He came back with a brand new phone for her and had gotten her a sim in his name. She had to make due with it for the time being pending when it felt safe again Bella was not worried about phones and calls, she needed to fix her life and rearrange everything. She was going to get a job and take care of her baby. She had made a resolution where to work and was going to let her father in on it as soon as the opportunity presented itself.
