Chapter Fourteen

True to his word he had picked her up, this time she did not miss the fun of the Ferrari for one bit. He spoke from time to time casually with her and this helped ease the tension building up earlier. This man just might not be as bad as he seemed but then she remembered that he had been a bit demanding with his request. Still, she knew in as much as he seemed not too bad, he was definitely dangerous. The question was how dangerous, he was very influential and rich, how did he come up with all this fanciful display of wealth. 

She gave him a raised eyebrow when he suddenly diverted from the route she was used to, "We'll be stopping by somewhere ", he said when he noticed her stare. Her mind was rolling in circles and she felt quite small before his intimidating self esteem. She simply watched the cars they passed and their owners. People admired the car and she was proud to be the lady by the drivers side. It came with an air of importance. They came to a halt in front of a big boutique. As soon as they came inside, she could feel the air of importance, it was 'welcome mr Martin's ' here and there. The ladies were trying in vain to get his attention. She was beginning to feel smaller and insignificant when he suddenly grabbed her hands making her fall in step with him. Now, this made all the other ladies glare at her with hate but she cared less; instead she purposely had a snicker on her face and an equal measure of the 'air of importance ' he just shared with her. He was ushered to the VIP, did he always come here with women, she wondered when this hottie dude came out of a room. "Welcome Jay ", he said with a friendly tone. Jay's eyes lit up as soon as he saw Buddy. They've been in touch over the years and their friendship was swell. "Ooohhh,  senorita, you are welcome ", he greeted Bella who gave a shy response and smile. Jay explained their purpose and five dinner gowns were laid before them, she tried them all and he saw how perfectly they fitted her and how she loved them. Having them packaged and she wearing one of them, they set out again. Now she fitted into his world, at least she thought. She had this glow and had to pretend she was focused on the road. He smiled understanding that she was avoiding his eyes. He had effect on her too.

Jay took her to a nice and fancy restaurant where he treated her to dinner. All eyes was on them and she was beginning to discover the power he held. 'Who are you Jay Martins ', she thought as they drove home. As soon as they got home, she wanted nothing but to dash into her room and exhaust the wet feelings between her legs, it was beginning to feel choked up. 

"We'll be spending the night together Bella ", he said to her which brought her to an abrupt halt, "What did you say ", she asked in shock and pretending not to have heard him the first time.
