Chapter 37

Casmien called Adrian, his assistant, to make sure the reporters were ready. Adrian quickly responded, thinking he was up for a change of mind. Upon picking the call, terror cascaded over him, the aura wasn't a welcoming one, he couldn't help but compose himself. His mind went towards what the king asked him to do, he might not see the implications of talking with Gary whom everyone had begun to hate upon hearing what he did to Kate and how he disrespected the Alpha. 

"Is everything set?" King Casmien growled in his powerful, authoritative voice. Adrian was shaking, he loved Kate so much as a real sister, even though they weren't related by blood. 

"You mean the reporters?"'He asked the king, wanting to confirm what he was really talking about.
