Chapter Two: 6 months later.

****Dreamscape/ memories.*******

I stood there staring at the young man. He had to be about six-one and muscularly built, broad shouldered and every bit as sexy as he dodged and jabbed his opponent. Yep, I said sexy. His golden blonde hair was cut way down on the sides and left longer on top that was tied back into a braid. It was very Viking. I caught a glimpse of the side of his square jaw line, and he had a five o'clock shadow going on and I felt myself drool a little.

I couldn't help it. He was stunning and I had never seen someone look like a God. Sure, I had seen plenty of good-looking guys in my life but this one...he took the cake. I gasp as he turns around smiling. His eyes are a beautiful vibrant forest green with soft golden flakes. My legs felt like jelly as I stared at his smile. For The Love Of The Goddess kill me now!

The memory shifted to him when he was younger, and he was laughing and running around with a large black wolf with silver designs etched into its fur. I arch a curious eyebrow at it. When suddenly the wolf lifted its head and stared directly at me, making me take a step back.

If it's a memory it probably it's me Hes looking at. But then his head bowed to me but his eyes were still on me...

I sat straight up in bed gasping for air. The last six months I had been having visions or dreams of this random man and I couldn't for the life of me figure out who he was. I couldn't exactly ask Mom what they meant in case it was something that she would try and take away from me...She was rather cruel like that.

A knock on my bedroom door draws my attention. The door slowly opens and Dad steps inside looking around. The Twins looked identical to our father. Same black hair, same build but Dad's skin was fairer, and his eyes were like Aryn's and Victor's.

He gives me a bright smile and I kind of frown at him. Why is he smiling this early?

"So, we have guests coming today. Dress nicely and Please for the love of all that is holy behave!" I arch a curious eyebrow at him.

"Who's coming?" Dad sighs and runs his fingers through his hair.

"The Skyfall Coven. Their son has recently taken over the coven and looking for a wife." Both my eyebrows shoot up in surprise.

"Xavier? I haven't seen him in several years..I thought he was married already. He's what twenty-three now?" Dd nods and looks a little comfortable.

"She was killed by werewolves...and his unborn son?" My heart ached. Poor Xavier. No one should have to go through something like that. I shake my head and throw the blankets off. "Okay, Imma get showered and then I'll get Victor and Victoria ready." Dad smiles easily.

"Thanks kiddo." I nod as he leaves the room. I sigh heavily and walk over to my bathroom.

I needed a hot shower to help me to relax. my body felt stiff and sore. I wasn't sure why. I turn on nothing but the hot water on and quickly strip out of my clothes. Stepping inside the shower I let out a small sigh and smile.

After showering and feeling like a brand-new person I wrap a towel around me and step out into my room. I jump back as Aryn stood in the middle of my room. Her eyes were completely white...What the hell?!

I rush over in front of her, and she gasps for air. I quickly grab her upper arms before she can collapse on the floor. She blinks rapidly and turns her head toward me. She looked scared for a moment.

"Airy what did you see?" She inhales several rigids breathes and I help her to sit down on my bed. She rubs her hands over her face.

"I'm so sorry Astra." I shake my head. She would always end up in my room when she was having a vision. Our parents didn't know that she saw the future. So, she came here.

"It's fine. Just talk to me. What did you see?" Aryn shakes her head and sighs.

"I saw war." My jaw clenches' and I curse under my breath.

"It's fine. Go get dressed and look decent. Another Coven is coming today. Just please try to put in out of your mind for now." Aryn nods and gets up slowly and drags her feet all the way over to the door. I sigh loudly and head over toward my closet pulling out the royal blue lace knee length dress. It was sleeveless with a high collar. The material was light and flowed out once it reached my hips.

I struggle into it and walk over to my full-length mirror. Cobalt eyes stared back at me, they seemed to glow as my ling thick lashes framed them just right. I frown down at my skin, it was flawless and a porcelain color. I hated that I was so pale, but it couldn't be helped, I guess.

I was of course on the shorter side. Five-four to be exact and I had an hourglass figure that matched my mother's. I shake my head as I could see the faint scars around my wrists. I glance up at my silvery white curls. They reached my waist. They were hard to deal with at times but I couldn't bring myself to cut them.

Sighing I decided that the best option was to just braid it down the left side of my head and be done with it. Once done I shove my feet into a pair of black flats and exit my room.

First was Victoria. I open the door and Aryn was already in the going through Vicky's clothes. I was grateful that she had decided to help. I back away slowly and head down toward Victor's room. I could hear his giggles from just outside his door.

I swing the door open half surprised to see the twins in there chasing his trying to get him to change. What the hell was going on with my siblings? They were helping. Why? Did someone use an obedience spell on them when I wasn't looking?

I grumble to myself and walk away from Victor's room. I make it all the way downstairs before chills covered my body. Only one person was able to do that. I turn around and cobalt eyes stared back at me. My mother was wearing a simple black dress that hung passed her knees and she had her golden hair pulled up into a tight bun. She was about five-ten. Heer skin was a lovely shade of ivory.

Mom does something that surprises me. She gives me a gentle smile.

"Good morning Astra." I could feel my eyebrows draw together in confusion.

"Good Morning Mother." She takes me by the hand and leads me into the kitchen where she pours us both a cup of tea. I follow her suspiously and sit down at the kitchen table.

"As you know we will be hosting The Skyfall Coven and they are a different Coven they will have different customs and beliefs. And their new leader is finally ready to remarry and try to move on." I arch an eyebrow at her. What did that have to do with me.

"Of course, mother I will make sure that their stay here is as comfortable as possible, and it'll be good to see Xavier again. I haven't seen him since I was seventeen." I had considered Xavier a friend. At one point I had, had a crush on him. No one could have blamed me though. All the girls around here did. Mom chuckles lightly.

"Yes, I do remember that he stole a kiss on your sixteenth birthday." My face instantly got hot! How in goddess name did she even remember that?! And why would she bring it up?!

"All unmarried or with out a pair bond from the age of twenty to twenty-three are to attend a meet and greet. It seems that Xavier is bringing a few young men from his trusted circle to try and find them someone as well." From our Coven only though? Why was that? Hopefully it was just because he trusted us....

My siblings came running into the room and sitting down to wait for breakfast. Mom looked between all of them and offered them the same smile that she did me. Each of them looked equally as surprised. Good so I wasn't the only one who thought that it was weird behavior.

"Xavier and the men he is bringing will be staying here in our guest wing and they should be arriving soon by portal so please behave!" My eyes widened. Did my mother just say please? Aros opens his mouth to say something until I cut my eyes at him.

' 'AROS! DONT!' I shot the thought at him a little quickly it causes him to flinch. But he shut right up as Sophie began to serve breakfast. Dad joined shortly after. He looked like he was tired. I arch an eyebrow at him but he shakes his head. Of course he wouldn't tell me what was going on.

I ate silently and watched my younger siblings closely. Mom was acting strangely and laughing and even asking them how they were doing. She was never like this. It was almost as if a hood had been pulled over her eyes so that she acted like an actual Mother...I knew better.

She was cold and distant. She did the bare minimum to show affection and she definitely didn't laugh. She had been that way as long as I could remember. was it because another Coven was coming and she was acting? I wouldnt let her hurt Victor or Victoria's feelings by playing along with it.

But I knew that it would be too late for Vic because he was so young, and he wanted his mother....I let out a long sigh drawing my mother attention. She giggles lightly.

"Are you daydreaming about Xavier" My cheeks instantly warm and I look down at my hands. I wasn't but why would she tease me about someone that I hadn't seen in four years. I shake my head and stand up. I needed some fresh air. Víctor rushes from his seat and over to me.

"Astra lets go play in the garden." I frown down at Victor and take his hand.

"We are going for a walk and that is it. You aren't allowed to get dirty before the guests arrive." Victor pouts but nods. I make myself slowly leave the kitchen and walk Victor outside and around back toward the Garden. Victor was strangely quiet as we were walking, and I was afraid of what he was thinking about.

"Vic is everything okay?" I kneel down and look at his tiny face. He looked like something was bothering him.

"Mommy wants YOU to marry that guy." My eyebrows draw together, and I stare at my little brother....He was reading her thoughts? I was impressed he was smarter than I gave him credit for.

"And you don't want me to?" Victor shakes his head violently. I couldn't help but laugh at him a little.

"Why is that Vic?" Victor sighs heavily and looks around to make sure that no one is around us,

"Because I've had bad dreams where he is covered in Momma's blood." My body ran cold at his words. He was four years old I reminded myself. Maybe they were just nightmares. But somewhere in the back of my mind it was telling me to listen. I clear my throat and force smile.

"Come then, let's pick some herbs for Mother." Victor beams up at me and nods. I needed to distract him.

We picked herbs for half an hour and somehow, I had managed to keep us both clean. Victor was jumping around rambling off herbs. I had to correct him a few times, but he was learning.

'Fair Warning the Guests are at the front gate.' Aros's voice rang clear in my head. I stiffen for a moment before dropping the herbs that I had.

"Victor they are here. Come on!" Victor frowns but takes my hand as we walk toward the back door of the Manor.
