Chapter 83 (kiss me again)

Nathan stood still for a while, while Ellie engulfed him in a hug -- as he fought the urge to bite her, he also fought the urge to push her away. Deep down inside him, he was dying but what else could he do? He didn't want to hurt the feelings of the young lady that risked leaving her home in the middle of the night to see him.

He closed his eyes as he tried to accumulate his endearing hunger.

Thump thump...

His heart continued to beat faster than usual and as he thought about what his next line of action would be, Ellie disengaged herself from the hug and immediately, he turned around with his back facing her, trying to prevent her from seeing his fangs.

Ellie, who was surprised by his reaction, placed her hand at his back and he jolted.

"Are you okay?" She asked with a look of concern on her face.

"Yes." He replied quickly.

"Are you still feeling bad? Didn't my hug make you feel better?"
