After the dinner, Chow Yi Nuo washed her hands and got out of the room and headed to her bed chamber in her abode, Zhi Meng Yao followed her,as usual. The cresent moon on the sky shone like a silver claw hang from the sky. The clouds passing over it from time to time made the night seem scary.
The silvery moonlight spilled from the hands of the night sky, seeping into the shimmering, calm waters of the pond that had little fish happily swimming in the waters. Accompanied by a thin sheet of fog hovering over the pond, the dreamlike scenery was almost like an oil painting.

A young man with a mask and dressed in a black Han Fu was seen jumping over the back wall of Zhong's family mansion. He stealthily made his was to Zhong Guiying's abode. The guards at the door let him in once he showed them his wooden token which was tucked inside his sash - he was Zhong Guiying's right hand man. After showing the guards his rank badge, the guards opened giant mahogany doors.
The young man walked in. Zhong Guiying was seated on a chair just in front of the screen with a mahogany table in front of her. She was reading a few poems. It had been her hobby as she loved reading poems as s way of venting her anger. Her well armed bodyguards had been standing besides her with her two maid servants standing beside the two bodyguards. They had been dressed in cream Han Fu dress with embroidered flowers on the bodice.
Even though there was a wall of bright candles behind her, all that could be seen was the monstrous shadows flickering across her face. Zhong Guiying seemed like a fair and kind lady to the public's eye but was the exact opposite. She was the sole reason why Zhong Kexin had to suffer, she stole her personality, her father's love and even her man. She was very well informed that Zhong Kexin and Prince Jun Yuanchao had been childhood lovers but she still pursued him in order to get the title of the Crown Princess of the kingdom.
The giant mahogany doors of the room flung wide open, the flames of the candles in the room flickered as the cold night breeze hit them and the young man got in. The young man walked up to the front of Zhong Guiying. He halted once in front of her and greeted her with a fist and palm salute.
"Master!" He greeted her with respect before he raised his face and his eyes met with hers. He shivered due to fright as he was aware that the news he had been sent to report were not going to be received happily by Zhong Guiying.
"Speak!" Zhong Guiying command as her gaze returned to her book.
"Master, the assassination failed... because Prince Jun Yuanchao came to rescue Zhong Kexin." The young man pronounced.
"Oh, so why did you not kill her before he arrived?" Zhong Guiying inquired with a hint of anger evident in her tone.
"Umm...she...she...she...ran...away after beating one of our teammates." The young man stammered.
"Oh, is it because you were weak?" Zhong Guiying asked as she took her jade green porcelain cup that was filled with green tea and took a sip before gently placing the cup on the table.
