Kendall Shay and Cora Flames are good co-workers who have accomplished a great heave of success together in the Varvara company, as they both share a strong understanding of each other. However, little did they know that their connection was only inside the business lane, since they knew so little about their personal lives.

Amber Rhett is a childhood friend of Kendall, and has been engaged to him for almost a decade. Although she doesn't love him an ounce, and knows he isn't attracted to her as well, she must marry him to satisfy the wishes of her arrogant mother.
