Birthday 2

It's time for princess Liliths party and we start walking towards the party and as we got there, princess Lilith acted surprised as everyone greeted her.

Me and Onyx followed princess Lilith while she greeted everyone until someone with a lot of jewelry cought my eye.

"I'll be right back" I whisper to Onyx

"But wait, we-" I left and started to walk towards the person with a lot of jewelry who was getting food from the table.

When I was standing next to the person I saw that it was prince Ezren, the second son of the Maiyun Kingdom

Their kingdom are suspected to be planing to get more land so the Valic Kingdom is on high alert towards the Maiyun Kingdom but they are also trying to be careful to keep the peace since they are neighbors.

Prince Ezren turns around fast to face me and asks "what do you want?"

That's when I realized I have been following him to his table.

"I'm sorry, it seems that I was lost in thought" I bow

"You must be the dragon right?" He asks and his his annoyed look started to turn into a smile.

"You are correct prince Ezren" I give him a warm smile to not look like a threat "are you having a good time?"

"I am, but the ribbons would look better in red, don't you think?"

Red, the main color of the Maiyun Kingdom, well his not trying to hide his intentions.

"I think red is a beautiful color but today for princess Lilith's birthday, it will be blue" I try to look away to not show my annoyed face but I couldn't look away from him, not when he is wearing a lot of shiny things.

"Mhm" Ezren now looks mad and his violet eyes are now looking into my blue eyes as if trying to find something to insult me with.

"Josh!" Princess Lilith came from behind me with a smile that then turned upside down when she saw prince Ezren.

"Princess Lilith" prince Ezren gave a little smile and took out his hand to shake hands with princess Lilith.

Princess Lilith looked annoyed by that since prince Ezren should have bowed when his in her kingdom but she ignored it and shook his hand.

"Prince Ezren" she gave a warm smile to try to change the mood "we thought you were going monster hunting for the rest of the year"

"How could I miss my neighbors birthday?" Prince Ezren asks "anyways, congrats on turning 18"

"Thank you, I hope you have a good time" Princess Lilith then turns to me with a shy look "hi Josh" she starts playing with her dress "will you have the first dance with me?"

"Of course, princess Lilith" she then grabs my hand and pulls my to the dance floor.

"Yeah, just leave me here, it's not like I have anything else to say!" Prince Ezren yells but we ignored him.

While dancing, princess Lilith asks "why were you with him?"

"I'm sorry, I got distracted by his dimonds and I didn't know I was following him" I then twirled princess Lilith and when she faced me again, she was giving a worried look.

"Will you stop being with me when you see another shinier kingdom?" She whisper but it was enough for me to hear her.

"What, n-"

"Welcome everyone" king William finally appears and is now standing on the stage where the musicians were playing "I'm glad everyone was able to make it to my daughter's birthday, Lilith, please come up here."

Princess Lilith is now on the stage, standing next to the king.

"My sweet little girl, Lilith" king William holds princess Liliths left hand and looks like he is about to cry "you have grown so much"

King William then turns to the audience "to make this day even better, prince Ezren, come up here" he then turns to princess Lilith and whispers "please say yes"

Prince Ezren walked to the stage and is now standing infront of princess Lilith and then got down to one knee and took a red dimond ring out from his pocket and asks "will you marry me?"

Everyone gasped and then there were whispers saying things like "aren't the kingdoms against each other?" "This must be a joke" "has he lost his mind?" "What is the king thinking?"

"Yes, I will marry you prince Ezren"
