Amelia was tapping her feet against the ground as she waited for Gavin to meet her outside the restaurant.
He came out a few minutes later, squinting under the intense sun. When he saw her, a smile formed on his face.
Amelia wasn't smiling though. She looked deeply bothered and as they both walked to Gavin's car, hand in hand, he looked at her with concern.
When they had both settled into his car, he did his seatbelt.
"What's wrong, Amelia?"
Amelia heaved and fixed her seatbelt. "Vivienne called last night."
Gavin frowned. "When was that? We were together throughout last night."
Amelia nodded. "Yeah, we were. She called when I was preparing wines for everyone." Her eyes were distant and she looked to be greatly affected by that one call. Gavin could tell from her demeanor.
"What did she tell you?"
