Jake Lane: Old Friends

On the streets of Kronos, Tuesday, 11:40 pm

"Oh, I hope Jake is fine ..." Natasha sighed as she laid her head on Lucille's lap. "He took off so suddenly, it looks like little Stella must be furious with him."

Astrid, who was wiping her face with a towel, chuckled. "Ah, girls, they can be tough," she laughed.

Lucille just looked at her while breastfeeding baby Hanzel, "you know, after what Jake told me about when you two ate in front of your daughter, I seriously question your parenting skills." Lucille wrote it down.

Astrid just shrugged. "Eh, it is what it is. I personally have no preference on where we will do it, as long as it is with Jake who I am doing it with."

"How romantic," Natasha rolled her eyes, leaving her back and getting up from the couch. Looking at the kitchen, Natasha's eyes realized something she forgot. "Well, well, I'm a genius." Natasha smiled.

"What did you do?" Lucille looked at his naked friend.

"I totally forgot that I filmed everything! This is amazing!" Natasha said, looking like a horny teenager.

"Truth!?" Astrid's eyes danced with excitement. "I want to see!" She jumped towards Natasha, her breasts bouncing and jerking as she did this.

Lucille just shook his head and looked out the window. "Hurry ..." 'Jake ...' she thought.

Outside the apartment building

"This is the last time I call an Uber!" Jake snarled at no one in particular when he saw his Uber driver finally walk around the block. He was in a hurry to get to Stella's house, but there was no way he was going to run five miles in a damn blizzard.

Swinging his arms frantically so that the driver could notice him, Jake couldn't help feeling as if he knew the car. It was a bright yellow sports car with lightning decals everywhere. But Jake was not exactly known for his incredible memory.

"It took a long time!" He screamed.

When the car finally stopped, Jake wasted no time in opening the door and literally threw himself inside it. "673 Stone Edge Drive." Jake told the driver Stella's address without even a greeting.

The driver, who was quite irritated with the teenager, snarled as he looked over his shoulder and prepared to give Jake the reprimand of his life. "Look at your brat- oh ... it's you ..." he stopped screaming when he saw Jake's face.

"There is?" Jake was sure someone was trying to yell at him, but when he finally saw the taxi driver's face, he understood why he didn't receive the verbal beating. "It's you ... a long time without seeing, Jefferson."

The newly revealed Jefferson sat back in his chair, "I'll be honest, boy, I never thought I'd see you again." Jefferson admitted, this time looking at Jake in the rearview mirror.

"The same here." Jake replied as he sat down in his chair.

Jefferson sighed, his shoulders falling as he put Stella's address on his GPS. "Come on, boy, after all we've been through, come and sit here with me." He offered.

Jake, seeing no problem with that, agreed. "Do not mind if I do!" He smiled as he climbed into the passenger seat as the car got on the road and started to take off. "So, how are you, big boy?"

Jefferson just looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "Really? Do you want to start a conversation so late at night?" He asked.

The pink-haired young man just shrugged. "Yes, I prefer not to sit here in silence."

"It's fair," the tallest blond man admitted, "I've been great, I got a real job at Grandpa's bar, but I still do it on week nights to get a little more money, I went to live with my girlfriend. of an idiot he had known since childhood with pink hair. " He finished the last one with a playful smile.

"Hardy har har." Jake laughed sarcastically. "But that's a good man, I'm glad your life is getting better."

"Yes, I'm happy with my life. But now about the elephant in the car ..." Jefferson stopped talking as he looked at the road. "How's the little runaway been since we met?"

Jake leaned his head against the window and ran a hand through his hair. "Very good until a few weeks ago ..." he sighed.

"Come on man, can you tell me." Jefferson assured him.

With a facial expression that exceeded his age for several decades, Jake bit his lip. "Well, I met the love of my life ..."

"AND...?" The blonde encouraged.

"She's a mother ..." Jake continued.

With a laugh, Jefferson nudged him with his elbow. "Ah, so a milf eh? This is really cool."

Wiggling his fingers, Jake continued. "But she is married, or at least everyone thought she was."

"Okay, I can see some problems over there." Jefferson commented.

"Then the mothers of my best friends found out and started to get together ..." Jake closed his eyes as a blush covered his face.

"Oh ..." Now hearing Jefferson say that was like a kick in the balls.

"And I just found out that I got her pregnant ..." Jake bit his lip.

"I can see why you were on the streets in the middle of the night now." Jefferson commented. "So they are all mad at you? The mothers." He explained.

"No, the other two are ... kind of jealous ..." Jake's knuckles were white from how strong he was holding his knee.

"Wow. Kinky." He hissed. "So what's the problem?"

"My friends found out somehow," Jake guessed. Well, to be fair, he had a good guess at how they found out, but Jefferson didn't need to know all the details.

Jefferson clicked his tongue. "Well, that would certainly get in the way. Now I can only imagine that you are running away again, but why go just a few miles to the suburbs and not some cities like the last time?" He asked.

"I'm not running!" Jake defended himself. "In fact, I'm going to my friend's house to fix this right now!"

"Hey hey hey, take it easy boy, I was just guessing." Jefferson said. "You don't have to shout."

"Ugh, I'm sorry ..." Jake's shoulders dropped. "I'm so tired of all this shit. Why can't life be easy?" He asked Jefferson while Stella's house was slowly appearing.

"Boy, if you knew how many people asked that question, I would like to know why it was never answered." Jefferson said wisely as he pulled and put the car in the parking lot. "But we are here, boy."

"Alright, man, wish me luck." Jake said as he took a twenty out of his wallet and handed it to Jefferson. "Keep the change."

"Thanks, kid," said Jefferson. But before Jake could open the door and leave, Jefferson put a hand on his shoulder. "Now, if things go wrong, send me a message. I will come and get you." He offered.

Jake just smiled at his kindness. "Thanks, Jefferson, but I won't need it. Tonight, I'm going to stop running and finally face my problems."

Jefferson just nodded, understanding. "You have become a great man, Jake Lane, I hope you don't die tonight." He said.

"Me too ..." Jake smiled and opened the door before jumping and waving at his friend, happy to have run into him again. But as he watched Jefferson leave, his body finally felt the weight of the situation. He was now at Stella's house about to face the music. He felt a knot form in his stomach at how nervous he was.

"There we go ..." Jake told himself. "I can do this! I'm the guy!"

Stepping out of the snow-covered grass and onto the cobbled walkway to the front door, Jake took a deep breath as he approached the door, trying his best to calm himself. It reminded him of his first time watching one of Gabriel's horror movies. He thought he was going to throw up!

Strengthening his resolve, Jake raised his hand to the door.

TOC TOC TOC

Jake closed his eyes in anticipation, ready to take his punishment. He just hoped that Stella wouldn't keep him waiting too long for his inevitable spanking. He prefers to end this sooner or later.

And it seems that fate was on his side when he heard footsteps and someone unlocked the door.

Hands fisted, Jake wished his body would stop shaking. He would endure this spanking like a man! Because that was what he was! A man!

"Stella." He greeted stoically.

The scarlet-haired beauty opened the door and leaned against its frame, arms crossed under her broad chest. "Scum," she almost spat on him.

Jake winced at that, of all the names he had been called by different people, hearing Stella call out to him was like a knife in the stomach.

'And to think we fucked once ... at least my first time was with Kristyn instead of you ...' Jake thought bitterly.

"Are they in?" He asked.

Stella just pushed a lock of her beautiful hair behind her ear, "oh, there are a lot of people at my place Jake, you are going to have to be more specific."

"Are Astra and Freddie-"

She interrupted him. "Oh, do you mean the motherfuckers you're currently in a secret relationship with? Oh yes, they're in there. Come on now, follow me." She said as she pushed on the doorframe and came in with Jake behind her.

As soon as he entered the doorway, Jake was blinded by three objects that attacked him at the speed of light, sending his body out the door and falling into the snow.

"What the hell...?" Jake's face contorted in agony when he felt an immense weight on his chest and cold, bitter snow biting his back. Could this day get any worse for him? All he wanted to do was talk to his friends and here he is being thrown in the snow! That was truly outrageous!

"Jake!" Three muffled voices cried out when three pairs of arms wrapped around his torso.

"What?" Jake lifted his head off the floor and looked down.

Now imagine your surprise when Jake looked down and saw the three faces of Markus, Marlon and Yulian. His three best friends from when he was at Crocus. The friends he left behind when he went in search of his place in the world ...

Jake, despite how moody he was feeling recently, cried when he saw the faces of his old friends. "H-hey ..." he sniffed, trying not to cry unless he looked weak.

"Hey," Markus smiled.

"What's up," Marlon agreed.

"Hi, Jake!" Yulian blushed while she smiled too.

Shiro left the house with her arms crossed over her chest, followed by Benjamin and Otto, both also greeting Jake in his own way.

"Well, well, well, you thought you could get away from me, didn't you?" Shiro laughed haughtily as he stood over the four of them on the floor. She rose over Jake's fallen body and lifted her foot off the floor and placed it right on top of Jake's cheek. "You should know better, no one can hide from us, especially one of ours."

"Yes Jake, you couldn't be hiding forever," Marlon smiled as he disentangled himself and sat in the snow-covered yard, not caring how cold it was at all.

Yulian got off him too. "I agree with them, you are one of us Jake, no matter how far you go, we will always be there." She smiled gently.

Jake just looked at his friends with a nostalgic smile. It was a truly emotional scene, a group of friends gathered once again under the moonlight in a snow-covered oasis. It was a fairy tale thing.

But when he tried to get off the ground, he still felt a person on him. Looking down, Jake frowned as he felt how strong Markus was holding him. "Markus?" He asked worriedly.

Markus just grabbed Jake tighter and looked at the floor, his shoulders shaking. "I lost ..." Markus said, his voice breaking.

Yulian, Jake, Marlon and even Shiro frowned. That was the first time they saw Markus cry, but the blonde did his best to hide his face, out of shame or for some other reason, they didn't know.

"It's okay man, I'm here now," said Jake.

"I know," said Markus after getting control of his breathing. "I just ... you're like a brother to me, Jake."

Jake wrapped his arms around his friend and hugged him. "I know, man, I know. If it makes you feel better, you're like my brother too. Hell, you're a better brother than Gabriel." Jake joked, attracting some laughter from those around him.

Markus laughed too, although he was still a little shaky. Finally, Markus slowly started to wrap his arms around Jake and walked away, still looking at the floor.

Jake was about to say something more to Markus, but a tap on Yulian's shoulder caught his attention. "What is it, Yulian?" He looked her in the eye, a little confused when he saw the conflicting emotions in their dark brown orbs.

"Umm Jake, we are not the only ones from Crocus who are here now ..." she admitted.

"Seriously?" Jake raised an eyebrow in surprise. "Who else is here with you?"

Yulian avoided his gaze. "Umm, I think it would be better if you find out for yourself ..." said the fair-haired beauty. When she told him that, another figure emerged from the house. It was just a silhouette, but Jake could tell it was a girl of how curvy the shadow was.

"There is?" Jake's face contorted, "Who are you?"

Not wanting this revelation scene to drag on, Marlon crouched down beside Jake. "This is Sakura," he whispered.

Jake's face immediately twisted with horror when his head shot up to look at Rogue. "What !? Really !? Why did you bring her here !?" He cried comically.

Sakura stepped out onto the lawn, the moon now fully revealing itself. As always, Sakura was stoic in her face, this time looking especially annoyed by the way she was throwing daggers at Jake, causing the poor man to quickly assess all of his possible escape routes to prevent his death through his hands.

It didn't take a genius (which Jake certainly wasn't) to say they still had meat. And Sakura certainly wasn't going to give up. Not when your revenge was so close! She had him exactly where she wanted him and there was no way he was going to get rid of her. He could run, but she would chase him. He could hide, but she would find him. He could fight, but she would beat him until submission. This was a no-win situation for Jake and everyone knew it.

"Wow ... it's really her ..." Jake sat there with his mouth open.

"Of course she is your stupid, why would we lie?" Shiro snarled, a vein throbbing in his forehead in anger.

"Jake ..." the name she once said with love now escaping her lips like an empty whisper. She always wondered what she would do if she came face to face with him again; every time she said she would just spray him for all the pain he caused her. But now that she was really standing in front of him ...

A malicious smile appeared on his lips.

"Heh heh ..." Sakura laughed, "heh heh heh ..."

Jake looked at Markus, Marlon and Yulian. "What the hell is going on here ..." They just shrugged, they had no idea!

Beginning to walk slowly towards him, Sakura kept her mad laugh and her threatening aura, further disturbing the young man with pink hair.

"Oh, how I waited for this moment!" Sakura laughed as she got closer and closer to him.

Benjamin, Otto, Marlon, Markus, Shiro and Yulian slowly moved away from Jake, leaving his friend alone to fend for himself, as this scary ex-lover would be the reason for his death. Maybe Stella would change her mind and come to help him?

It is unlikely.

Finally Sakura was at his feet and towering over him, snapping his knuckles as a sign of what was to come. "You left me Jake ..." she started with her bangs covering her eyes. "You really hurt me. I trusted you with my heart, I loved you, but you still hurt me."

Jake looked away from the girl, obviously uncomfortable with the truth.

"And for that I will have my revenge. But I am not without mercy, I will soften the spanking if you beg." She offered.

Jake shook his head. "I prefer to take the beating, I kind of deserve it," he admitted.

Sakura looked up, her golden eyes still barely hidden by her bangs. "Very well, then," she said.

Now Jake was not surprised by what she said, Sakura was always like that. But he was surprised by her voice when she said that. It was low, almost silent, and there were cracks in her voice when she said that. His shoulders were shaking, either with anger or sadness, Jake didn't know. Looking around, he realized that no one else noticed what was going on.

Sakura was crying.

Bending down and grabbing the collar of his shirt, Sakura closed her free hand into a fist. "You idiot," she whispered.

Like a wrecking ball, Sakura swung her fist down to deliver a nasty uppercut to Jake's face. The sound of Sakura's heavy blow hitting Jake's face echoed down the street, the sound of Jake's back hitting the ground was only drowned out by the snow.

"Oof," Markus winced. He was a few feet away, but he still flinched with the force that Sakura hit his friend.

Yulian covered his eyes, hugging Shiro. She didn't want to watch this.

"You bastard," Sakura snarled as she still grabbed his collar and pulled his torso up. Jake had his eyes closed and his lips curved back, showing his teeth clenched. Pulling her fist back again, Sakura launched a ferocious hay, this time directly into her nose.

'Damn it! 'Jake swore when he felt his head fall back,' it hurts a lot more than I thought! But then again, Sakura was never known to contain herself ... '

Years ago...

Back to a time before our current story, before Jake returned to his hometown and before severing ties with his friends in Crocus. This was a happy moment for Jake and Sakura, they were barely sixteen and had started dating a few weeks ago, with just a few dates to talk. Some would say that it was at that time that Sakura was most happy, others would say that it was a time when Jake was really at peace. Anyway, things were looking good for the young couple.

Jake and Sakura crossed the vast courtyard of Crocus's No. 1 boarding school. Many of the gifted students and academics were with friends, doing activities and living their daily lives. Jake had once again forgotten Sakura's class schedule and was intrigued as to why he was walking with her across the campus.

"So, which class are you going to again?" Jake asked boldly while holding Sakura's hand.

Sakura laughed melodically, finding her confusion cute. "I already said that a thousand times, Jake," she said.

"Maybe just one more to be safe?" Jake shrugged.

Smiling, Sakura teasingly rolled her eyes. "Okay, I suppose that's fair, you're a little slow after all," she laughed at his scowl. "You are taking me to biology."

"Oh yes ..." Jake said as he looked at the blue sky. "Maybe that's why you're carrying your biology book ..."

Yes, Jake was not always the smart cookie he is today * rolls his eyes *.

"But now that I told you and although I already know, it would be impolite of me to ask where you are going," Sakura sang.

Jake just frowned and looked at her, "oh, now you're just kidding me," he accused.

"What? Me? Playing with you? Never!" Sakura said, pretending to be offended.

"Why should I ..." Jake grunted making Sakura laugh again.

Approaching the building that housed science classes, Jake and Sakura were about to say goodbye before they could see each other during lunch hours that, fortunately, were scheduled at the same time.

"So, see you later?" Jake asked, looking at his girlfriend.

"Yes, definitely," she smiled.

Now that it was established that they would meet for lunch, Sakura and Jake drew their heads close together, lips pursed in anticipation ...

But his little moment was ruined by Markus ...

"Hey Jake! The coach said he wanted to talk to us before training!" Markus shouted as he left the building, happy to see his best friend and roommate.

"Uhh ..." Jake looked at Markus, a little upset that he was just inches from kissing his girlfriend, but was interrupted by the blonde.

Sakura on the other hand ... let's just say that when Jake had to run Markus to the school nurse, she commented on how she had never seen a person's nose pushed back ...

(~ X ~)

Back to the present ...

"Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!" Sakura screamed as she sat on Jake's chest, using both hands to repeatedly punch his face, which was now in a variety of colors from the spanking. It would take a while, but the swelling on your face would lessen.

All the spectators had different reactions, but all shared sympathy for the friend.

Shiro was doing his best to calm Yulian, who was now crying, while Benjamin and Otto, but were scanning the area to make sure that no owner would go out and try to be a hero.

But Markus and Marlon, both were furious with themselves and Sakura. How did that woman dare to beat her friend like that? Why wasn't Jake defending himself? Should they intervene? These thoughts were among the most repeated thoughts circulating in both their heads.

But still, Jake just stayed there, taking the beating he honestly felt he deserved for putting Sakura in what she had been through. He knew her past and what she did to get where she was in life, it was difficult, very difficult. But still, Jake used it and dragged it through the mud.

"Fucking idiot!" Sakura shouted in his face.

Jake - with heavy eyelids - looked at her. When he saw his face, he felt his heart crumble. She was red as a beet and had streams of tears streaming down her face.

That was like a stab in the stomach for him ... Here he was, taking a brutal beating, and it was she who was crying .... He couldn't take it. He couldn't lie here anymore.

"S-Sakura ..." he gasped.

She didn't answer, but instead, she buried her fists in the snow, her arms tired and heavy.

Looking at her, her face being lit by the moon's rays to reveal her eyes that were oceans of sadness. "I'm sorry," he mumbled. "I'm sorry I hurt you ..." his lip started to tremble.

Slowly, Jake began to notice that small drops of water were starting to fall on his face and he immediately knew what they were, her tears.

"Sakura ..." Jake whispered as he slowly guided his hands up to her face, gently placing his hand on her cheek. Like a frightened animal, Sakura gently began to stroke his hand. He wasn't sure if it was affection or fear. Using his thumb, Jake gently wiped away his tears. "You don't have to cry, I deserved it."

Even to the breaking point, Jake would never blame her for anything. He understood that everything that is happening now, was set in motion by him a long time ago.

And that was when Sakura lost him. Throwing herself at him, Sakura released him. For years she carried that weight on her shoulders. All of that rage and anger had been building up since he left. But now, finally getting her revenge, Sakura didn't know if it was worth it.

"III ...!" She choked on her own words.

"Shhh ...!" Jake wrapped his arms around her, "it's okay, it's okay. Don't say a word." Jake comforted her.

Sakura had literally broken his face, but here he was, still comforting her.

"I am sorry!" She gasped, staining her shirt with her tears. "I d-don't know what came over me ... I was so mad and seeing you just ... I'm sorry, Jake!" Sakura whimpered, her voice now hoarse from everything that had happened.

How could she have been angry with him? All he ever did was love her and give her all the attention she could possibly want, but the only time he followed her heart, she threw him out of her life instead of supporting him.

"I should have come with you ..." Sakura whispered. "I should have left with you ..." she repeated.

"It's okay, Sakura, it's okay." Jake assured him, stroking his hair gently as the cool breeze blew over them.

The spectators frowned, watching the two of them lying in the snow. Both broken from the long journey to this point. Both were exhausted and needed to sleep, some time to get their heads together.

But at least they reconciled and had the difficulty back.

Inside the house

Astra covered her mouth, fighting tears in her eyes. She was warned by Stella and everyone else that what they would see would be very heavy. She knew that Sakura and Jake carried some emotional baggage, but up to that point? Carrying that kind of weight must have been paralyzing. Knowing that Jake felt as bad as he did and let Sakura drop him on the floor because of that? It made her feel a little bad for saying what she said about him about her mother.

Freddie, who was beside her, just made a face. He was also at odds with his feelings. On the one hand, he was very upset about Jake taking his mother to bed. But on the other hand ... he felt bad for his friend. If he had known how Jake felt about leaving Crocus and all the crazy delusions that the pink haired boy had in his mind while doing his daily life ... Freddie would have tried to sit down and have a serious conversation with him.

Beside him, Malu had a solid, stoic face as he watched Sakura cry. Honestly, she had no opinion about the girl. She just wanted to get her hands on Jake and beat the little pervert until he choked on his own blood. Putting his hand on his heart, Malu frowned. Jake was like that annoying little brother to her, but she still cared for him deeply. Of course she liked to hit him and tease him, but he will always be that little boy to whom she gave a lap pillow whenever he spent the night at their house. She couldn't help but laugh at the memory, everyone except Nemo laughed, even Jake laughed!

But speaking of Nemo ...

"My beloved Onii-chan!" Nemo wailed as he tried to run out the door and comfort Jake. Stella had a steel grip on the plump pinkette, preventing her from ruining the closure that Jake and Sakura needed so desperately.

"Let go of your damn monster! My Jake needs me!" Nemo shouted comically. 'I need to treat your bruises and cuts! I need to show him that I am the perfect waifu! '

Oh, poor, sweet and stubborn Nemo ...

Stella's patience was being seriously tested by the pinkette. Nemo, not Jake. But she felt sympathy for the poor boy, but she knew that he must have taken the beating in order for Sakura to take out all her frustrations on him and eventually give in. Thankfully Sakura reached her limit before breaking Jake's face forever. Maybe now it would be easier to talk to Sakura and get her to move on with her life. Stella knew that the last thing Sakura needed was to accidentally fall in love with him again.

Back out

Jake was still lying in the snow, looking up at the dark night sky while his hand stroked Sakura's back. The poor girl had managed to control her sobs by gentle sniffles. Now Jake's jacket and shirt were soaked with tears, not that he was going to blame her. He was sure that he shed some tears himself.

Looking at his friends, Jake smiled weakly to signal that everything was fine. He would also have made a positive sign, but his hands were busy.

"It's okay, guys ..." he whispered. "Can you give us a minute?" He asked.

Nodding, Markus nudged Yulian and Marlon with his elbows. "Come on, guys, they deserve to be alone now."

"Thanks," Jake smiled.
