C 61. New Path Of Emotion

"Hmm, you influence some of them to impede. But I have the right to call upon it even if they delay.

As for my Subject, everything is going smoothly. I only want balarabe to return and my research will continue."

"You are like an old brick, it will only be counter productive to you. He may end of in my hands, considering his powers are bizarre.

And that will happens the moment his status turns to Primal Subject. From then he must be put in the respective Sector benefiting his ability, before anything."

"Why are they not doing it? Hehe, Madam 9, I know you have more influence in this facility but my research is vital to the organisation success.

That is why they will wait till I finish with him. In fact, they will not like the drastic improvement of his powers.

Him being here inside my safe Sector protects him from prying eyes that may decide unnecessary things.

"I find a secret about him that will truly help you! If you want it you need to cancel the board meeting."

He looked in thought as if weighing his choice and in the end, he said, "Give me ten days to think about it. And please don't disturb my office!"

She disappeared afterwards.

"Don't forget your new duty of cooking. And also keep your family life out of work, that is the only way we proceed without hindrance!"

"I understand." He was about to turn around when I asked him, "You Said you found a path for our ability?"

"It's complicated, I have always thought about it along that line but I was too busy and also not sure if I was correct.

You sense Positive Emotions, such as Happiness, Love, Kindness, Selflessness, Sacrifice, Sense of duty and all. 

Now you can even influence that emotion into someone. 

Here is where you are wrong, you also make yourself feel sad to sympathize with others if they are diving into sadness, anger or any of the identified negative emotions.

In that case, you are not supposed to sympathise with them or feel what they feel whether you are going to influence them or just read their condition.

The best way is if you can't find positive emotion in them then find the positivity of the situation. 

A good example, if you are to meet two orphans whose parents recently died, do you have to wallow in their grief? 

No. What is required of you is to find the positive aspect of death no matter what it was.

Perhaps you may find that their rich uncle will take them in, or they will have a good sponsor that will take care of their school and other activities.

It may also include the fact that the orphans will mature and understand the world faster, which may be good in a weird way. As what one goes through in life shapes him and makes him mature."

He stopped to rub his temples, sighing.

"It's a dangerous path that one can lose his sense of humanity, if you view all the bad things with a good expectation you will gradually turn into a monster.

As you will be fine orchestrating bad activities as long as they may give positive results.

So, we need to tread with care. I will talk with Dr Alex to help us with his guidance."

I sighed, I'm not a genius like my brother, but I understand things better than normal people. Nonetheless, I only understand that I have to be cold-hearted due to my powers!

"What about Sam? Didn't he need to absorb the suffering of others to grow?"

"The good part yes, but the sad part is he is deep in that regard and that may have caused some harm to him.

He is supposed to be your opposite, to wallow in their grief and deeply sympathise with them.

To the extent that he can feel and see exactly what they are going through. 

After that, he should be able to absorb those feelings gradually to elevate them out of their mood.

Helping them elevate their sad or negative feeling, the fact they will feel cured or being healed, that should be his source of happiness as he is helping them remove their presumed burden or negativity."

"The act of helping them reduce the negative emotions should be the source of his joy, happiness and also power?"

"Yes, unfortunately, he only enjoys and feels the thrill of seeing people in a negative emotion which is wrong!"

"Did you understand all this from Subject 3519 short words?"

"Yes, his ability to access other powers are increasing... I will take my leave."

I went back to the Garden to do my duty. It's mandatory to always talk to him at this time of hours even though he always keeps his mouth shut.

Before today, I thoughts due to his accident he has become retarded but it seem he is well sane person.

I found him sitting in the middle of the garden as usual but this time he was whispering. 

Another routine that he sometimes does.

We record it but it doesn't make any sense to us. Though that isn't my field as I'm but his babysitter.

"How did he make you speak?" I asked.

I expect him to say something but he refuses and reverts to how I know him.

"They say you see the true nature of people's abilities?" 

I guess he is no longer in the mood.

"Look like he continued eating your food. What are his emotional changes?"

"As usual, he reverted to normal as I know him. It's just that he whispered this time a lot. But none of the whispers carries any emotion behind it."

"Okay. Did he open up to you?"

"No."

"From the past seven days, which of your food did he like the most?"

"Well, based on what I feel from him, he considers eating a necessity, not something used as enjoyment."

It has been seven days since that event happened but I never felt the same again. 

Something is weighing on me but I don't know what it was.

"I have submitted his whispers to be analyzed, I think we might know what he was saying.

You will be there when the result is brought because I want your input."

"Okay."

"And also your brother was healed, and we are currently putting him in the new path like you." Director Khan said before he left.

"Hmm." A wave of anger boiled from the deepest part of me, but I cooled it down with my powers.
