Act 13

It had been a few weeks since both girls went out together at first they were scared, but little by little they got loose. Neither wanted to tell her family about the relationship, they didn't feel safe even to tell them and they put it off as time went on.

One day the older one made the decision to bring her courtship to light, she was tired of having to lie to be with the person she loved. Our little friend was quite scared when her girlfriend was outside her house and more because she told him that that day she would tell the truth to her whole family's face. He tried to persuade her not to say anything about her, but he put her in check of her by telling her that if she didn't do it about her, she would do it but it would end everything between them at that moment.

The family was concerned when they heard that little discussion and they decided to go out to see what was going on, it was quite shocking how they found her little girl kissing another woman. The grandmother with a single cry separated them, neither of them had words to explain the truth to them, but it was one of them who plucked up her courage and answered them.

-You only know me as a friend of her daughter, but that is not the case, she and I have been a couple for a month now- I hold her girl's hand with confidence

-That's right? - the mother asked quite serious

-I-I ... mom is true- she was very nervous and very scared-she did not want to lie to them, I did wrong, she was afraid of disappointing them- she tried to explain how she could do things

-You lied to us, we who are your family and we have always supported you- her mother moved away back to the house -this was a very big wound and we will not be able to forgive you-

-I don't want a granddaughter who is a lesbian either, she is a very big shame for me- her grandmother turned her back on him, taking her brothers.

With that clear signal they turned their backs on her, she took her belongings from her with her pet and left home. Her girlfriend received her in her own apartment that she had thanks to the help of her parents for the moment, they had not left her aside for being her as she was.

At first, she felt quite sad, she could never see her family again, although her partner told her not to feel bad because now they had each other. With that in mind, she encouraged the new beginning that life was giving them. She realized that living together was the best thing that could have happened to her and that they had only been in a relationship for a few months, but they felt like all newlyweds.

She got a scholarship to continue studying, now that she did not have the support of her parents, she had to manage herself. Her girlfriend offered her help, but she refused, she didn't want to be a burden more than she already was. She was able to continue working and the best part was that she was promoted to a better position. Despite the fact that she had lost all connection with hers, she managed to obtain new opportunities in her life, not everything was gray as she thought.

In her university environment, everything was normal, no one looked at her differently for being like she was and her best friends were still by her side until they supported her in everything she needed. Everything seemed like it would be fine until the end of the year except for a small problem that came to a couple of weeks before she finished her classes.

A letter had come from Japan, a university was calling her to offer her a scholarship in a design course. It was at that moment that everything changed for both girls. The oldest did not want her to leave because she knew that long-distance relationships were very difficult and would be separated by more than four years. But it was the best opportunity for her girlfriend to get to be in one of the best-recognized design universities.

Now there was a gap between them, our dear friend would have to choose between the two most important things in her life, the person she loved and her career that was part of her dreams.
