Act 12

The changes she applied in her life helped her realize how strong she was and no matter how many things happened, nothing could defeat her. Each event of her strengthened her, achieving that today nothing will bring her down.

But there was a change that she did not dare to tell, that was that her sexual orientation had undergone a slight change now she liked women. She was afraid of being called abnormal for having feelings like this and worse with how traumatized she had been at school. That's why she kept it a secret, she suppressed what she felt.

She could not trust anyone what was happening inside her, nor could she to her best friends because perhaps they would walk away from her and divulge how sick her condition was. That made her act very strange which alerted her friends. They decided to ask him once and for all what was happening.

-These last weeks you have had a very strange behavior, we want to know what happens- they both asked at the same time

-They are his ideas, nothing important has happened, it's just the stress and how little sleep I get between work and the university- she answered a little nervous

-We know you very well and we know that something is wrong with you, tell us please trust us- they asked again looking at her

-They would not understand ... What happens is that ... I ... -she was afraid to tell them the truth and that they would leave forever

-There are problems? Is someone harassing you? Whatever it is, there is a solution- they told her confidently to calm her down

-Is not that! It's about me ... I'm a lesbian ... -she confessed with great shame -I know it's wrong and it's weird to even sick, that's why I'll understand that they don't want to be my friends anymore- the words came out suddenly out of fear

-So that's what it was ... hey, it's really good, it's neither weird nor sick, it's quite normal- they hugged her tightly -we will never stop being your friends unless there are concrete reasons to do so, but this is not the case- they conveyed calm.

That was how she was able, to be honest with them and take a weight off her, she felt a sense of relief settle in her chest. Without a doubt that was another test in life which she managed to pass with effort.

After her confession, her life was better than ever, she was awarded that year with academic excellence and several of her designs were chosen by the teachers. At that very moment, she decided to join a club. She wasn't sure which one she wanted to enter, but the decision to do so was already made.

Among so many positions, a club caught her attention, it was the novels club or better known as the writing club. It took her less than five seconds to come up and sign in, the person in charge of her was a woman in her 30s, she looked quite nice. A couple of other people had also signed up, apparently, she would be a small group and she liked that.

That club would leave in the summer, she already longed to begin, perhaps her skills would develop and new ones would emerge. Maybe in one of those she ended up writing for a major publisher or being freelance and publishing famous novels. Every one of those thoughts about her made her very excited.

Arriving at her home, she told her family about the small group she had joined, everyone congratulated her on this initiative. She also mentioned it to her therapist, who wanted me to share her stories with her later, only if she felt confident in doing so.

In this way, she ended her university year and began the vacation period. Although she was resting, she continued working, it was right there where she met a girl who completely captivated her. He was two years older than her, but that did not matter to him and timidly he asked her for her telephone number, he agreed with a single condition that he agrees to leave her for a whole day with her. That was easier than she thought, she accepted without hesitation for a second and they agreed to meet outside of her workplace the following weekend.

He was all the following week waiting and longing for that weekend, he fixed himself the best he could. That date she was very nervous, maybe they were just her ideas, maybe it would just be an outing between friends and nothing more.

At the weekend, she appeared at the place of the appointment and there was that special person in her heart, she felt that she was running out of air that everything was spinning. She maintained her composure as best she could throughout that day. Just as dusk was approaching, they decided to sit in a park to rest.

They both stared at each other, you could feel the vibes of peace that were transmitted. It only took a few seconds for both of them to approach and close their eyes, bringing their lips together in a shy, but warm kiss full of feelings. She had never felt like this, no person had managed to upset her so much and at the same time give her so much peace. This is how they both found love again without looking for each other.

They knew that it would not be so easy to be together due to the prejudices of others, that did not matter to them, they decided to start a relationship at that very moment, promising only one thing in addition to much love. That they would always fight against any adversity.

<You are important to me, it doesn't matter if the path to be by your side is difficult, I am willing to travel it>

-They confessed to each other while they remained embraced admiring the sunset-
