Interlude: Zion and the guildmaster

(The guild)

Zion is walking through the guild, specifically going to the guild master's office.

Zion enters the office."I have good news for you today."

The person sitting at the table looks up from the paper and asks."What?"

"We have a new adventure."

The guild master just looks at Zion with annoyance."We get new adventures every day, what's new."

Zion just gives a wide smile and says."The kid was able to beat me."

The guild master just stands up and leans over the table, revealing the person behind stacks of paper and out of the shadow. The man had long green hair. The most notable thing about him was the scar running down his face. It went over his left eye, from the tip of his eyebrow to his chin."WHAAAT! How could you let someone beat you?!"

Zion just gives another wide smile and laughs"Hahahaha, you won't believe it. The kid was able to trick me. He might not be good at fighting other people, but the kid is used to fighting monsters."

The guild master sits back down on his desk with his chin on his head thinking of what to say." What's the name of the adventure?"

"The kid's name is Nix. And don't think about grabbing him for yourself. I found the kid interesting so I'm gonna teach him."

This surprises the guild master again."What?! How long has it been since you've taken a student in? You sure your not too rusty to teach him?"

"Oh shut up. I might not have taught anyone in a while, but I'll do a better job than you. With my old age, I have more experience than you."

The guild master just lets out a sigh." Alright, you can teach him. I'm just curious about how far he'll go."

"I was gonna do it whether you allowed it or not. Anyways have a good day, 'snapper'."

Snapper just frowns and says."Don't call me that name. I swear some people have no naming sense. How many times do I have to say call me by my real name."

Zion just laughs and walks out of the room, leaving 'Snapper' by himself.

And what better to do besides another interlude

it's a really short chapter but I'll make the next one longer... probably... most likely... nope I'm making it longer
