Chapter 4

After we woke up, we started our daily training for a few minutes, preparing our bodies for the challenges that lay ahead. Once we were done, we packed our things into our inventory portal, a magical device that allowed us to carry our belongings with ease. As we ventured through the woods, the academy came into view, its grandeur visible in our eyes. We stepped through the entrance, joining the line of people waiting to be scanned by the gatekeeper.

"Place your hand here," the guard instructed, pointing to a scanner machine.

We followed his instructions, placing our palms on the machine. The scanner spoke, confirming our registration.

"Registered, 34th Mizel Rafoul Z-section... registered, 35th Neil Paryahu Z-section," the machine announced.

Suddenly, a man with blonde hair and a black trimmed robe appeared before us.

"Hello, I'm instructor Louise. I'll be guiding you to your school," he introduced himself.

As Louise led us through the academy, we marveled at our surroundings. The buildings, roads, towns, taverns, and shops were bustling with people. Finally, we arrived at a towering 100-story building. We climbed the stairs to the top, where Louise stopped us in front of the last room.

"This is your room. Give this to your teacher," Louise said, handing us registration cards that officially made us students of Bolrak Academy.

We entered the room and were greeted by a beautiful teacher standing in front of the class, engrossed in her lesson. As we walked in, all eyes turned towards us. We handed our registration cards to the teacher.

"Go take a seat at the back," she instructed.

The classroom was vast, with numerous vacant seats at the back. We found a spot and settled in. After a while, the teacher began explaining the schedule for the day. She informed us that after three years of study, we would have the opportunity to become soldiers, specializing in various disciplines such as knights, archers, and mages.

Our daily schedule consisted of training from 7 to 10 am, followed by a lunch break from 11 am to 12 pm. After that, we had regular classes from 1 to 4 pm, and the rest of the day was free time.

After the class ended, Neil and I made our way back to our shared dorm. The junior building had separate sections for male and female students.

"Whoa, that was exhausting," Neil exclaimed, flopping onto the upper bed.

"I'm planning to join one of the sword academies," I shared.

"Same here!" Neil replied enthusiastically.

We finished our dinner, which we had brought from the canteen, and settled down for the night, eagerly awaiting the adventures that awaited us in the days to come.
