"Are you... of age yet?" Old Master Qin asked the boy in front of him.
"Sixteen." The boy answered.
"Sixteen? That won't do, you're still too young." Mrs. Qin refused.
"I won't take any compensation; it won't count as child labor." The boy replied.
"That won't do either. You're young, and you should be in school now. Child, listen, go back to school. If you don't have enough for tuition, I'll pay for it." Mrs. Qin persuaded.
"I've graduated from college." The boy explained expressionlessly.
"Don't talk nonsense, at your age you should still be in high school." Mrs. Qin thought the boy was making it up to stay for the job.
"I really have graduated from college."
As he spoke, the boy took out his diploma from his somewhat worn backpack.
The moment Mrs. Qin saw the diploma, she was full of surprise.
