"Wait, what? What did you just say now?" Aiden nearly choked on his words when he heard the girl's voice sound before him.

"What about you being my master did you not understand?" the girl replied clearly annoyed by Aiden's reaction.

"But... I don't know you! In fact, I had no idea that you existed. How did you even make a contract with me? Who the hell are you?" Aiden asked in confusion as he looked at the girl in Infront of him. At the same time, he also raised his guard up. If this girl was to try something, he would try his best to stop her or he would do it the only other way left: to run!

"Shut up!" the girl said in anger. "Do you think I also want to be here? I woke up here with no idea about my past! I don't even know if I am except for my name, age and random information! How do you expect me to know? Tell me, how do you expect me to know?"

"Wait... So you are telling me that you just woke up in here with no prior knowledge? When did you wake up?"

"I don't really know but calculating from your timeline, it would be since you were born. I also woke up here the moment you were born!" the girl said in anger.

"Oh..." Aiden eyes squinted into thin lines. He had been studying the girl's reaction when she first introduced herself. And from what he had studied so far, nothing indicated that the girl was lying. This meant that the girl was speaking the truth ever since she started to talk.

It was either that or she was very good at acting and lying that even someone like him couldn't notice it.

"But I don't get it.... why would I be here? If you are my summoned spirit then doesn't it mean that this is my spirit space?" Aiden muttered as reality dawned upon him.

If what the girl claims were true, then did it mean that he already had a spirit space and ... a power source!

"Of course! A power source. If you are truly my summoned spirit doesn't it mean that you have been feeding on my power source? Where is it?" Aiden asked the girl with anticipation. If he really had a power source then everything would be solved.

To become a mage, the students are supposed to have power sources. Even though he had no idea of what he is supposed to do when he first entered a myriad of magic, he is guessing that he is supposed to create a power source since it was the most fundamental thing for every mage!

"Hm..." Hearing Aiden's question, the girl rolled her eyes and looked at Aiden as if he was a fool.

"Why are you staring at me like that?" Aiden asked when he realized the awkward atmosphere.

"I thought you were smart since you were able to easily link a lot of dots together but I was wrong..."

"What do you mean?" Aiden asked.

"Can't you see it yourself? Why are you trying to deny it?" the girl asked with a nonchalant look on her face.

"Wait... you mean...."

"Yes! That is what I mean your power source is that!" the girl said as she pointed in a direction

"You mean... My power source is this star?!"

Following the girl's finger, Aiden saw something that nearly made him faint in shock!

In the meantime...

Back At the School.....

"What is going on? Why hasn't the gate closed?" Mr White muttered in frustration as he looked at the Gate of Life right above the stadium. It's been only two hours since the gate opened and by now all the students were all out.

However, for some unknown reason, the gate didn't seem to close. It was one thing if this was the only thing but it refused to close even if they commanded it. At this moment, Mr White was at lost at what to do.

"Mr White, I think we should use that!" the man who activated the gate said.

"But if we do that, we would lose its trust!" Mr White replied. The Gate of Life was a sentient being and it had its own will. If they were to force it to do what they want, it might refuse to cooperate with them in the future.

"That is the only way! We have to do it! Remember, other people are also eyeing the Gate of Life!" the man said.

"Hm... okay! Activate it then!" hearing the man's words Mr White seemed to have become cautious all a sudden and decided to go along with the man. Hearing Mr White's command, the man prepared to leave but just then, a voice sounded in their ears.

"Mr White please wait!"

Turning his head to the source of the sound, Mr White saw a teenager running towards him. As for who this teenager was, it was none other than Ace.

"Hm? What is it?" Mr White asked with his brows raised.

"A friend of mine hasn't returned yet. He is called Aiden... Aiden Acker" Ace said as he panted. He arrived about some minutes ago. And the first thing he decided to do was to do what he always did after separating from his friend when they went somewhere. He decided to search for him.

However, to his surprise, he couldn't find him. After waiting for a while, he realized that Aiden wasn't coming soon. And he needed to find him all by himself. Yet to his surprise, he realized that he couldn't find him at all. This made him panic and after hearing Mr White's command to close off the gate, he decided to risk it all and approach him.

"Oh? You mean there is still a student left in the Gate of Life?"

"Yes! His name is Aiden. Please if you can just wait for a while. I am sure he would get out soon!" Ace replied.
