The liar and his Affair

Chapter 1

It was a rainy night, lily was standing in front of a restaurant as she stared through the window to see her fiance having dinner with her sister.

Tears started to slowly flow down her face as she watched them from afar, the thing is she already knew this was bound to happen, it was just a matter of time.Lily had been seeing her boyfriend for 4 years and it was on the might of their anniversary that she had seen this scene

She had called his number to see what his reaction would be when he saw her caller id but when she had called him he had just looked at the id and ignored it then shut his phone down while looking back towards his mistress.

More and more tears came down Lily's eyes. She couldn't bear to see it so she ran as far away from that restaurant as possible.What had hurt her even more was that the woman who was with him was one of her best friends since childhood.

When she couldn't run anymore she was out of breath and cold so she had decided to go home, it was one of the worst days that she had ever had in her life.

When she had returned home she had a shower and changed her clothes so that she was soaking wet from the rain but during the whole time she couldn't it stop crying even if she tried.

After changing she laid in her bed curling up in a ball and cried herself to sleep, the next morning she had woken up with red puffing eyes that it was obvious that she had cried.

Lily was doing her last years in university majoring in business at the top of her class.so had asked for a leave from her professor she had to get her mind straight.

While staying at home all she could feel was anger and also confusion towards her best friend and her boyfriend. Lily and boyfriend had a good relationship. They have never been in any fights or arguments and they had also supported each other in the things they do so she was confused.

as she thought to herself she couldn't help but wonder what she had done to deserve this and as she was thinking throughout her head her phone that had kept ringing over and over non-stop….

she looked over at her phone. It was her dad doing his daily calls, she had answered the phone and with a soft voice that had just finished crying all night.

" what happened who hurt you" asked her dad " it's nothing (sniff,sniff) don't worry about it dad" then her dad had asked what he would usually ask when calling was that " are you alright and how are you doing in university" but hearing this she couldn't hold it in any more and started bawling her eyes out.

her dad couldn't help but worry and said " sweetie I'm coming over now and we'll talk about what's happening okay don't cry anymore okay" and then her dad had comforted her through the phone while getting into the car and asking the driver to drive to his daughters apartment.
