After waiting for 15 mins Sejung came out side to call, "Shin Haein"

"Yess", she stood up from a corner where she was sitting before the interview.

"Boss is calling you and others thanks for your presious ttime please try next time", he bowed slightly like nodding and led Haein to Loey's office

"May I come in sir ?" Haein knocked before entering into his office room

"Yess come in".... Loey replied before Haein could finish her words as if he was waiting for her arrival....as soon as she entered he closed the automatic blinds of the room's glass walls giving her a strange vibe.

Loey asked her to sit on the sofa with a straight but labial face. Haein sat on the sofa while taking a wide look of the office.

Loey's POV.

Yess I have to tell her. I need her brain. I know I shouldn't bring another innocent into this mesa but I have to. She is perfect for the job. I can get rid of her whenever I want without any guilt. But I fear, I may hinder. She is Haein.

Shin Haein. The same name as her. The person I let go 8 years ago. I just hope this is not that same Haein.

No it cannot be. This Haein grew up in different place.

Again. Two people can have similarities right?

"Before starting the job I need to tell you something. As far as you know You have to sign the contract with me that contains some conditions".

"Yes sir I know. it's common to sign a contract between employer and the employee before starting the job"

She is smart and easy going. I will convince you at any cost. Will she accepted it! I know I'm it may cost her life but I must do this. It's for the nation. Ooohhh dad why are you doing this to me? I'm not stone hearted as you. I can't let another person in danger for me.

"Umm but I said because I have some lethal conditions that you may not want to sign the contract and informations about this contract must be a secret. I chose you among the them because you seemed to be an expert in keeping secrets. Am I right??"

why isn't she replying? What is in her eyes? Why is she looking so familiar? fuck my overthinking brain.

No my Haein was not like her. This Haein is different.

"More than that I'm asking you because it may cause you life risk and as far as I heard , you don't have anyone to cry after you so you are the perfect pick for this work. And if you agree with my conditions I will give you twofold of money from your salary and I'll personally take every responsibility for every damage until our contract ends. What you say ?"..

Finally Haein speak out , " So you chose me because I'm an orphan and good at keeping secrets. Fine I also wanted to do something interesting and dareing."

She crossed her arms togather and leaned background. It's seems like she is little bit interested , "At first I need to know the conditions so I can think about it...."

Fuuuuuuu..... Thank god she spoke out.....

I nodded in approval with a slight smirk. That's like a good girl. I think she likes adventure. Let's reveal conditions one by one.....

I lifted his index finger of right hand " No.1 What I say , what I do , whom I meet must not be known by anyone no matter what. Until it's office related."

I kept explaining , raising fingers one by one. I'm hella serious but deap down my heart is about to fall. Dad I can't do this. And Haein's eyes getting wider and wider. As if someone is telling her about the secrets of Pandora's Box. her eyebrows keep frowning untill they nearly touched together.

"And these are my conditions".

good job Loey. My hands are trumbling but I controlled myself and about to place the contract paper on the table but suddenly Haein stood up like a springe.

Aaahhhh Why why is she so unpredictable?

"WHAT !!?"

That made me stand up too in a sudden.

I'm damn sure she won't accept this.

Haein exclaimed in utter disbelief, "You mean I may end up doing illigal work for you or actually die!!"

"No..." I defended myself to convince her. Because at this very moment I already know that if I wish to execute my mission more smoothly in future not getting caught in public eyes and satisfy dad's ambitions then I definitely need her. Or else dad will kill her.

"I'm telling that I'll do the work and you have to cover up for me. And for your kind information it's not a illigal work. It's national security defence".

I went near her that made her a stap back. please don't get scared. I made a dedicated look, "Ms. Haein I need you intelligence. Please work for me until I finish this mission. It's not for me. It's for our nation. I promise I'll take the full responsibility for the aftermath.." Bring the emotion in your voice man.. "Don't you want you parents to be proud of you ?"

Proud of my acting skills...

"Okk", Haein sighed visibly.

It's clear that she is still not convinced totally ,"I can't let go of my talents in waste and I need money. So I'll sign"

OKK OKK OKK.... Loey control yourself... You are almost there But why I'm feeling so excited for this silly thing.... Why..?

"So please sign it", I took the contract paper from the table and out stretched to her. She took it and started to move her eyes thoroughly over the lines.

Did I make a right choice? I don't know.

She placed the paper on the table and bent down to sign it.

"From now on call me boss. Your work time will start from 8 in morning. Come to the office, check everything in my office before I reach and worktime finish when I get back home".

I gathered all my confidence. I know it's not right but have to keep her in pressure. basically I'm telling you to take the first step on my behalf. Confusion is visible in her face.

"Why I have to check ?" She frowned .

"Because someone may set some trap like you experienced in the morning" I think it's enough explanation for now. I should let her adjust with the situation first.

"You can start from tomorrow"

She nodded without a word. It looked like big size Pikachu bent down infront of me. She is kind of cute. I fought my urg to chuckle. Yess even in this situation. Because strangely she is looking familiar to me. Her height, her nearly round face, marble like big eyes, her speaking style. Everything seems familiar to me.

Shin Haein.... I heard this name after 8 years. But it can't be her.

Personal information doesn't match but why do I feel like I know her? Should I ask? no no...

She took her leave.. I snapped out from my thoughts and decided to inform Dad about this. So I took out the phone from my suit and called him.

"Hellow dad. I got someone for this job. I think she is useful"

"I see. But be careful. If something goes wrong she will end up like your last secretary".

... End of call

A strong voice over the call. I'm not telling this because he is my father but sometimes he can be real definition of devil in human shell. He vanished My last secretary who was working for me. Because he was about settle with his family and wanted to leave the job. Dad doesn't leave any loose strands in his plan. He is the leading head of undercover Intelligence bureau but he is no good than a Mafia. So I always try to do my job secretly but safely making sure no one end up like him. I already took so much burden before. But this time I think it will be easier.....

Flashback:

Lay : "boss this is my resignation letter ".

He placed a piece of paper on my desk . He shouldn't have done that .

"Lay think again. Do you really want to do this?" I asked .

He is the only close friend of mine after Hobaek and he knows every detail about my secret works. If only I knew back then that l won't be able to know if he was alive to see the Sunrise next day , I would have forced him to stay . I don't want this to happen.

Lay : "I have to leave " . He flashed a sorry smile. "I want Liya and my unborn baby to have a danger free and secure future" .

Heaving a sigh I took the latter ,"Are you leaving for China ?"

He nodded ,"Umm . Our flight is at 11 a.m. tomorrow " .

"Okk I'll come to see you off ", I stood up to go near and hugged him . " I'll miss you ". I didn't know I won't be able to see him ever after .

He hugged me back and patted my shoulder ,"Make sure to take care of yourself " .

Next day I was waiting at airport . But they didn't show up . The flight left the runway without them . Without waiting I drove to his apartment just to find it totally empty . I was panicking like hell . Just then I got a call from my dad .

Dad : "Don't search for him . He is no longer here ."

My fingers run through the hair locs nervously as forehead got covered with cold sweat , "D..dad what did you do to him ? What about his family?"

Dad :" It will be better if you focus on pending works "

"FOR GOD SAKE DAD , THEY HAVE A UNBORN CHILD. ATLEAST TELL ME THEY ARE SAFE "

Dad :"They are having their time together where no one will bother them . "

With this the call got cut.

"Dad .. dad .. DAD", I screamed inside the empty room looking at the photoframe , the only one thing that left inside , hanging on wall . A happy couple looking at me . I ruined their life .

:Third person POV:

Next day..... 7 in the morning

Hae in came to office before everyone. Opened Loey's office and started to cross-checking the room. Under his desk , behind the sofa , in between the shelf, the files.

Nothing to be found.

She was about to go out but suddenly saw a note on the door that says ,"If you got the note means you are still alive. Thanks for checking on my behalf. your desk is outside my room. Now read the filles on the drawer and organise my schedule , save every single number on the list before I reach. WORK HARD"

She hished pulling the note and stuck in her diary. She took out the files and went to her desk. His office is visible from outside through the view glass. Haein took a glance and started to write down the information after reading the files.

Suddenly she got a call from a private number.

She sit back straight. "Yess Master. Agent BlackFairy reporting. I double checked. Every thing is clear".

"Day after tomorrow , 3:35 pm. , Gaman complex , stay alart. Don't get caught in his eyes at first attempt. you have keep eye on him until this mission succeds."

A voice came up from the other side. It's Loey's father. PARK SO MAN.

THE LIVING DEVIL.....

"Don't worry master , I won't let my 8 years of experiences go waste. More than that it's my most waited mission. I'll protect him even it costs my life" , Haein cut the call with a suspicious expression. Her eyes are telling something. Dedication , planning , like she is gonna swallow someone with her eyes. Then resumed her work with a smirk.

It's around 8:55 when other employees started to come in the office. They are muttering into themselves about her.

"Bro is she the new secretary Sejung was talking about? She is quite pretty" Ken rested his hand over Kyung Soo's shoulder.

"Wanna hit on her already , you dirty soul ?" Kyung Soo slipped his shoulder making Ken almost hit his elbow on the desk.

Sejung entered between the talk and placed his laptop bag on his desk where everyone formed the group. Looking toward the desk Haein was working ,"Yess she is the one. What was her name again? OHHH , Shin Haein".

"Shin Haein.Her name is also pretty ", Ken gave a foolish smile , " Guys lemme make her comfortable. It's her first day at work " and made his move.

"5000 ₩ bet for me.He will get rejected within 5 mins", Cheng filled Ken's spot crossing his arms on the chest like teenage Mafia students gang leader.

"Let's See " , Kyung Soo , Minseok, Sejung , Bora , Suhan said in chorus.
