Chiyo and Theo Waited for the door to fully open and finally they went inside.

"Theo, I have a bad feeling about this, this is a secret room that only us has been able to open up, that means no one but us has been to set foot on this secret room so we have no information as to what might be inside, we can just proceed to the next floor and not go here."

"Calm down Chiyo, we can't trust Avarice what If he was just trying to trick us so we wouldn't enter or yes he might be really trying to lure us in but I doubt that there are any major threats inside."

Theo was feeling confident because of his skill Quick Save which he can use anytime, that made him careless.

It was another hallway but not as long as before in fact it was a very short hallway, it was a small room with a throne in the middle, A Tall dark figure, wearing a tattered robe, on his right side of the throne, was a giant Broadsword at least 8Ft. long leaning on the throne, parts of the blade are already chipped and moldy which shows that it has been used on too many battles, and was left here for a very long time which made it moldy.

"T-Theo we can Still go back!" Chiyo was trembling in Fear

"Chiyo Calm down, there's nothing here, it's a corpse of someone who died here."

Theo took another step to get near the throne, as soon as his right foot reached the ground suddenly the eyes of the Dark figure shined a Gray light.

*System*

Ominous Aura detected.

You will not be able to use your Quick load nor Quick Save.

Dying will result to the end of your life.

Because of the Ominous Aura all passive skills will not work, all your stats will be reduced to half, casting a spell will cost you 10x more MP. your Maximum HP is reduced to 50%

"CHIYO! RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN!" Theo Screamed

Chiyo couldn't move an inch and she was gasping for air, Chiyo succumbed to the fear that she was feeling and finally losing her consciousness.

It was too late for Chiyo and Theo to run because the door was fully close.

After a moment, The revenant slowly stood up, and stared at Theo for a few seconds. It was a first for Theo to have felt this kind of pressure and fear, it was as if, he could die anytime the Revenant wants to, after a moment of silence the revenant finally spoke in a ghastly voice.

"I must thank you mortal, you finally released me from my seal, as a reward I would spare you your life"

Theo tried to remained calmed and responded

"W-Who are you?"

"A mortal such as yourself doesn't need to know my name, but since you helped me break free of the seal I shall tell you a story instead, 500years ago there was an unending battle between 5 heroes that worked together in order to defeat an immortal being, the immortal being cannot die no matter what happens he always wake up on another place with a missing piece of his memory, everytime he dies he exchanges parts of his memory to resurrect, the 5 heroes knew that they can't keep doing this, because eventually they will die of old age while the immortal being will still continue living, so before things could become any worse, they decided to seal the immortal being forever in a place away from the human world, he was sealed in a small room locked away by a huge giant door, they made a golem in a form of a skull sculpture to keep away people from reaching this place, the immortal being was sealed in a room but it didn't keep him from hearing what was outside the door, at first, the heroes assigned some guards aside from Avarice to keep this place safe, but eventually hundred of years passed, people thought that the immortal being was just a myth and little by little Avarice was left alone to protect this place, after the heroes died those ungrateful mortals has forgotten even the heroes as well that saved them from their end. The immortal acknowledge the strength of the 5 heroes in fact that battle with them is what made him feel alive, but now that they're gone, I shall end the world once once I have my full power back, this is my respect for the 5heroes, I will spare your life today and that girl with you, but the next time we meet it will not be the same."

Theo felt relieved but still curious.

"What if you achieved your goal, everyone's dead but you, what will you do next?"

The revenant was amazed by Theo's Curiosity.

"You're more worried about that mortal? Although it is true that I cannot die in exchange for some of my memories, Death is not the greatest loss in life mortal, The greatest loss is what dies inside us while we live."

Theo was left speechless, but he was more worried about how powerless he is right now in front of the revenant, the revenant is yet one of the most powerful being that Theo encountered, his thirst for strength grew, knowing that the current him right now would be dead in front of those kinds of being.

The revenant suddenly vanished in front of Theo's eyes.

"Avarice my old friend, after the humanity has betrayed you and disregarded their duties, you stayed and did your job expecting nothing in return, we may have been doors apart but you still kept me company for a few hundred years, I shall bring you with me so you can see more than a dark gloomy room."

*swooossshhhh*

The revenant Picked up Avarice and vanished into thin air, leaving Theo Thrilled and challenged.
