A Mother?

No one say anything as they were stunned on how the infamous princess just 'erased' someone in a mere seconds without trace. They still remembered the agonizing scream a moment ago and felt a chill on their bones.

Haruto was extremely surprised for a different reason though. It was because he recognize the technique Lumina just used on the now-gone merchant.

It was 'Hakai', the signature technique of the Gods of Destruction in Goku's world. The technique to instantly obliterate the target whether it was a ghost or not, living or non-living, people or objects into nothingness.

Not only that, right now she already dispelled her aura but the energy Haruto felt just a moment ago was without doubt a Godly Ki, the Ki signature belonged to a divine being. It was because he couldn't sense her energy signature during her short fury back then.

And judging from the fact she used Hakai, the energy she radiated was without doubt the Energy of Destruction, the same type of energy every Gods of Destruction possessed.

He wondered how Lumina could learn this kind of technique and at the same time also fully impressed knowing she's at the very least as strong as a God of Destruction that Goku and Vegeta still couldn't beat on their own selves.

Another thing Haruto was surprised on was the fact he couldn't sense a Godly Ki. It looks like until he gained back Goku's god forms, he wouldn't be able to sense them.

On the other side, Erick was gnashing his teeth furiously as he's holding back the fear he felt from Lumina. If this woman wished to, she could easily eradicate him the same way she did to the poor middle aged merchant before. That's why he didn't he say anything other than bowing his head slightly to Lumina and left the place right away. His self-esteem was deeply hurt but there's no other choice.

"You better sincerely pray to be able to win against Haru-tan, little kitty. Or I wouldn't hold back my hands just like this time hehehe."

She said before he left that cause him to feel a deep chill in his bones. After Erick gone, the tension in the room lowered significantly as there's no more pressure coming from Lumina.

"Tehee~ Did you see that Haru-tan? I'm pretty amazing ri~ght?" She winked on Haruto.

"...You surprised me in a lot of different way than you think... Just how did you learn the Energy of Destruction, Lumina?" Haruto sighed and asked his puzzlement.

"Nn? What are you talking about Haru-tan?" Lumina looked confused.

"Energy of Destruction?" The other girls looked at each other in bewilderment. They were unfamiliar with such term.

Haruto raised his eyebrows because he didn't expect Lumina was not aware of it. But thinking about it more it was natural as the term in Dragon Ball World was different than this world.

"I'm talking about the technique and type of energy you used just now. It was a special type of Godly Ki called the Energy of Destruction." He explained.

"Ara, is that so? I didn't know about that. I just learn it on my own in the past. It's not like it was that hard anyway fufufu." Lumina chuckled.

'Not that hard? You're going to make Beerus and the others cough out blood hearing that' Haruto's face was twitching. The Gods of Destruction had to spent millenniums to learn that after all.

"Nii-sama seems to know a lot isn't he?" Elsie looked amazed.

"Fumu, I'm not that surprised." Selianna nodded.

"I never heard about this Energy of Destruction from any books before...." Fia murmured.

"Haruto-kun is amazing~" Kaori praised.

"....Asami-san, it must be another knowledge from anime and manga right?" Rikka whispered to the black haired girl beside her.

"What do you expect? The fact he wished for that kind of power belonged to a protagonist of shounen series is already made him helpless." Asami whispered back. As one that often nagged by her father and younger brother about manga and anime, she was familiar with Haruto's power.

Haruto could hear their whispering with a twitching lip but he decided to ignore them. It was a man's romance after all, what's wrong about it? And aren't you both have anime and manga power too? Asami is from game though, he thought.

"Oh right, we already this late. We should go soon or we will miss Lotus-san's match." Kaori reminded everyone.

"Do you still want to come Lumina-san?" Rikka asked.

"....Well, I wanted to but it looks like there's no need for that anymore." Lumina smiled.

"Eh? Why?" Fia asked perplexed.

"That's because she kindly coming here on herself, isn't that right little cutey?"

Lumina moved her gaze to the outside room. Her statement stunned everyone in there. As soon as she said that, a figure of a young woman appeared from the door wearing a bright white hood.

"Lotus...san?" Fia widened her eyes in shock.

"...."

The woman is Lotus who supposed to have her match soon after this. Haruto narrowed his eyes because even he did not notice her approaching their place. His detection was inferior to Lumina who already sense her from the very beginning.

The woman in pure white clothing gazed at the group with her violet eyes. She proceeded to remove her hood, revealing the full sight of her face and bright silvery hair.

'What a beautiful girl.' The girls and Haruto was mesmerized and thought at the same time.

Not long after she removed her hood, her body glow slightly as her figure changed in an instant to a more younger version with a bit different facial shape. Her eyes became deep blue as her ears became pointy long.

"....An elf?" Selianna was dumbstruck.

The holy pale skin and face so beautiful that they seemed unreal, the pointy ears they possessed, they were all the characteristic of an elf. Even then her appearance was still far more attractive than the other elves.

Haruto too was astonished to see the extremely rare elves. But what he's thinking now was that her current appearance is exactly the lady he saw back on the ship.

Still, why is she revealing her true appearance she's been concealing until know right in front of them?

"...."

Lotus kept her silence despite the group's confusion and walked slowly towards them, or more precisely to Lumina. She stopped near her and looked at each other for awhile before bowing her head deeply.

"It's been a long time, Okaa-sama (Mother)." She said.

"WHAT!?"

Haruto's group exclaimed in shock as they looked incredulously at the two beauties standing ahead of each other.

What did she say just now? How is that possible?

"Muu~ You're still calling me that? It looks like you haven't change at all little cutey!" Lumina puffed her cheeks and complained.

"....I merely paying my respect on my life benefactor." Lotus said without raising her head.

"Lumina, what is this about?" Haruto rubbed his temples and asked. He already drew a conjecture based on their conversation but he still wanted to ask.

"Ah! D-Don't misunderstand, Haru-tan! She's not my child, I only took care of her in the past for some time and that's it!" Lumina gasped in realization and hurriedly explained.

"Hee... Is that so..." Haruto put on doubtful expression because her reaction was interesting so his desire to tease was incited.

As expected, Lumina was startled and began panicking. She didn't want her future husband to misunderstand her having a relationship with another man in the past. Her current attitude was so innocent that Haruro couldn't helped but laughed loudly.

"Sorry sorry, I only teasing you." He said wiping his wet eyes.

"Wha!? Y-You... that's not funny at all Haru-tan!"

"Ow ow ow ow! I know I know, it's my bad!"

Lumina pulled his cheeks in anger, this was the first time in her life being teased by other people so she's not truly mad. In fact, she really felt refreshed on the new feeling.

"...."

Lotus opened her eyes wide observing the interaction between Lumina and Haruto with a shock look on her face. Both Haruto and Lumina noticed the eyes around them and separated from each other.

"*Cough* S-So, why did you come here little cutey? I thought your match will start soon?" She cleared her throat with a tinge of blush on her face.

"....I came because I felt Okaa-sama's energy. I never thought you'll be here." Lotus explained with stiff expression.

"You felt Lumina's energy..?"

Haruto widened his eyes. The energy she meant must be when she unleashed the Godly Ki a short while ago. To think she's capable of sensing that, it deeply impressed him as not even he is capable of doing so in his current state.

Lotus heard Haruto's voice and turned her gaze on him. She recognized this young boy and the other girls because they were unusual during her time boarding the ship. Though she didn't expect for them to be here too.

"....Hello." She greeted him with almost emotionless face.

"Well hello there too. So you really remember me huh." Haruto wryly smiled thinking this girl was too stiff.

"....You all looked unusual so I feel curious." She said.

"I see. That makes us the same then. I feel quite interested in you too." He smiled.

"....Pervert?"

She took a step back and raised her guard. Haruto's face twitched at this. The girls were laughing on the back.

"That's not what I meant... Oh well. By the way so you're Lotus huh, can you tell me your real name?" Haruto sighed and shrugged before asking. Although Lumina obviously knew, he wanted to hear that from the person herself.

"....No." She shook her head.

"Tsk, I guess it can't be helped." Haruto sulked. He rather fond of this kind of girl.

"....Okaa-sama, are you going to watch my match?" She looked back at Lumina who watched them with amused grin.

"I planned to since I was curious on how much stronger you became but I already seen enough for now hehe. Also, don't call me that." She said.

"....How...is it?" Lotus asked with nervous tone, she beautifully ignored Lumina's retort on the way she called her.

"Little cutey, you re~ally didn't change at all are you? Hmph fine then. I'll tell you my honest impression. Your growth is so-so!"

"!?...It can't be..." Lotus looked so shocked as if a thunderbolt struck her body.

"*Sigh* It's not like I was blaming you okay? You just recently recovered from your injuries after all. Otherwise you should already a Semi-Transcendent by now."

"....Okaa-sama."

Seeing her looked sad, Lumina sighed and pat her head gently to comfort her. She blushed seeing the others looking at her with lukewarm eyes and smiles. She looked at Haruto and made a smirk, causing him a bad feeling.

"Oh but you see. I have an advice for you if you want to grow stronger quickly." She smiled back on Lotus.

"....Advice?" Lotus' eyes lit up.

"Ye~sh! Remember this little cutey. If you want to get stronger quickly, the trick is to fight and win against that handsome Onii-san over there!" She pointed on Haruto with exaggerated gesture.

Haruto himself was dumbfounded because he was suddenly became a spotlight in the conversation. 'This girl is trying to have a revenge on me!' He thought.

Lotus widened her eyes and looked at Haruto to observe him. She tilted her head and said,

"....He doesn't seem that strong?" That was her honest impression. She already knew the boy was a kind of strange and unusual for some reason and yet the strength she felt from him was not as high Lumina described him to be.

"Ara, little cutey. Are you doubting me?" Lumina said.

"!!.... I wouldn't dare to...!" Lotus was startled.

"Good. Don't be fooled by his deception. He's ve~ry, very strong, get it? If you let down your guard you'll be beaten up by him in this tournament! That's why don't hesitate and go all out! Beat him up before he beats you!"

Lumina grasped Lotus' shoulders and told her with emotional tone that telling her to 'Made a mess out of him, yeah!'. Haruto was amazed knowing Lumina was a lady who harbors grudge so easily. It was obvious her intentions was to rile up the elven girl who acted like her daughter.

"....Understood. I'll take Okaa-sama's advice at heart." She nodded in serious manner. For her what Lumina said was the truth. If she said poop tastes great then that's a fact.

'Oh well, it's not like I was dissatisfied with it.' Haruto shrugged in his mind. At least he gained attention from his target this time and that made him excited.

Lumina did not follow them to watch the match with the reason she still needed to vent out more because killing Doen wasn't enough. Later during this day, it was known that a few mountain ranges were completely destroyed by unknown person.

They separated from Lotus and went to the audience seats to watch her match. Just like the first match, she was 'appearing' on the stage with similar moment. Only later did they learn that it was Lumina who told her that kind of entrance is cool and she should do that.

Lotus quickly defeated her opponent without moving a single inch from her place. Although her match was short but the audiences still feel excited as this was her characteristic. She always defeated her opponents very fast whether it was the top fighters or not.

Haruto was more or less beginning to grasp Lotus' true capabilities and he shuddered a bit because she's stronger than he thought. He was thinking that if he wanted to win, he still have to do a little more training.

'I don't know If I can make it by the time of our match or not. If I can, it'll be my trump card.' He secretly planned on his mind.

After the match, they went back to the inn to have dinner. Haruto began his secret training on the desolate valley near the island by asking Kaori and Elsie to come. From now, he'll be coming here other than his match.

Tommorow was the beginning of the third round, the starting of the fight with powerful opponents for him.
