"What does it mean to be a hero?"
"Some would say that a hero is one who only does what is right, another individual would agree that a hero is someone who fights against all forms of evil, and this however is false."
"A hero is someone who searches for the true purpose of good, even if the route of action is found through evil, as long as our world is at benefit, we might not all agree with the choices you make, you may even have to sacrifice ones closest to you in the call of justice, even if the world never knows the options given to you, and that is why if you have any doubts of proceeding forward you are still allowed to exit, before it's too late."
The crowd hadn't moved for moment, no one within it dared to exit the great hall, various people murmured in disagreement, some stood still, but the truth is everyone within it was scared.
"I didn't waste 6 years at the junior academy for nothing" whispered a dark-brown haired boy amongst the crowd.
"Sssh, wait for the speech to finish," his companion hushed him quickly.
"Now that you are all aware," the preacher began once more, "We now offer a more former greeting to all of you first years, before anything can carry on, we'd like all of you to group yourselves into three, we all expect that you all know each other very well from the junior division, you may all begin now."
The crowd broke into a sudden rally, everyone trying to create a strong team, tagging each other, on the other hand Adrian seemed relaxed, his hands in his pockets, his red eyes daring.
"Adrian, aren't you going to form a team?" lily's voice echoed to him.
"Why should I choose? I'm waiting for groups to choose from when they all pile up to ask me,"
"Um- you do know that fire is one of the common abilities right, plus you know you really weren't that great in the junior academy?" Adrian's heart sank to her words for a moment.
"Fine, if you really want me to be in your team then I'll try to manage." Adrian glanced at her; she had brown hair, and light brown eyes that pierced his."
"Great that makes us 3!" Lily exclaimed excitedly but Adrian seemed to be awoken from her trance.
"3, what do you mean three, you only picked-" before he could finish, he saw him, black hair and blue eyes.
"Levi!" exclaimed Adrian outraged.
"Calm down Adrian, I don't want to see you either." Levi said calmly, aghast Adrian turned to lily.
"Why'd you pick him?"
"Why not?" Lily seemed taken aback, when Adrian saw that Lily was not going to take his side he sighed turning back to Levi.
"Alright fine, you can stay" his fists coiled.
"You're welcome" Levi replied directed to Lily.
"Now that you are all sorted, your group leader is to come forward by eight o'clock to hand in your group name and its members, but don't forget, any spread of our doings can resolve into serious consequences, we are watching you… always, Welcome to the Heroes League."
The people seemed oddly excited, but Adrian stood anxious, what does he mean by "we are always watching", are they always seeing what you do or is it a metaphor, and if he does then how does he see what 30 people do, maybe he's just joking.
"Adrian" Lily finally getting his attention, "what name should we give ourselves?"
"Why don't you ask that guy over there," he said pointing at Levi.
Levi shrugged, "I'm not good at names."
"Aha, that means I should be leader," Adrian commanded before Lily pulled his shirt back towards her.
"You forgot who formed this team didn't you?" her voice shrill and small in his ear, "I was just joking," Adrian smiled it off.
"Well then, what about Tier 3," Adrian suggested, Levi raised an eyebrow.
"Tier 3?" Levi repeated, "What does that mean, we're third tier?"
"To be honest, it just sounds catchy,"
"Well, I guess it does check out," lily agreed, Levi turned to her in shock.
"You're really going to agree because it sounds catchy?"
"Unless you've got a better suggestion" Lily offered but Levi stood silent for a while.
"Fine," he finally agreed, "Tier 3." He seemed lost at thought.
"What's wrong" Lily urged him. Levi turned his face towards her.
"Our team focuses only on elemental powers, I control electricity, that hot-head over there controls fire" Adrian quickly turned to him outraged. "And you lily, control earth, if you were to ask me, we're one of the weakest groups in our abilities."
The realization was slow but sudden she could see many groups of people, the potential of different abilities was not certain, she turned back to Levi his blue eyes still fixed upon her's.
"Why worry" Adrian suddenly spoke with a smile, "I have a great feeling about this team, we are tier 3 after all."
