Hyuga Affair

After learning how to use shadow clones , Yoshio did what other intelligent people will do. He created ten clones daily and grinded to improve his calligraphy to expert level as soon as he can. Fuinjutsu was just too useful and he has too many ideas he wanted to try it.

The three academy jutsu - Substitution, Clone and Transformation were way easy for him to learn. After about a fifty tries , he has mastered all three of them to perfection and now can use them anytime he wants without making any hand seals. Perfect chakra control made things too easy for him but kneading and molding chakra was still a little unfamiliar to him. Yoshio was not worried thought as he will become an expert at that too with using jutsu back to back in years.

Naruto became more and more cheerful with days going by. Leaving him with Kakashi was a very good decision as he seemed to be getting out of his depression too. Kakashi also resigned from anbu and became a normal jonin of Konoha so that he can choose any mission of his choice while spending more time with Naruto. He also started teaching some basic body stretching techniques to Naruto to improve his constitution for handling future training. Naruto came daily to Yoshio's home to play with Shikmaru while he also became good friends with Ino and Choji. Yoshio enjoyed watching them play very much from the side.

Today Yoshio was lazing around inside his room as usual with an open book covering his face and shadow clones practicing calligraphy. Suddenly he stood up and a serious expression came on his face because he recieved important intel from one of his shadow clones who was in charge of attending academy in his stead.

Yoshio - ( Finaly it's time for an event to happen in the village. )

Yoshio smiled as he dashed out from his room to meet his dad. He was lucky as his dad was in his room today having a little break from his work.

Shikaku - What happened, Yoshio?

Yoshio - Nothing much dad. I just heard that war with Cloud village was over and some of their powerful ninja will here tomorrow...

Shikaku - Sigh.. that's why I'm taking a small break because in an hour I will have to go and see through all the arrangements to welcome the Cloud delegation. Too much work for poor me. Yare Yare daze..

Yoshio - Dont feel down dad. After all it shows how much Hokage and others trust you.

Suddenly the 3 year old Shikamaru came running inside the room and sat on his onii chan's lap quietly. Yoshio had sensed him long ago but did nothing to stop his cute little bro.

Yoshio pinched Shika's cheeks which made the latter pout.

Yoshio - What's up my cute brother? If you want to play then I will do that later..

Shikamaru - No. I want to select a birthday gift for Hinata because mom forced me to. What a drag..

Yoshio suddenly started laughing loudly because Shikamaru already started using Nara clan's signature phrase ' What a drag ' from his small age...

Shika - Bad oni chan Hmphf. Dont laugh and help me because mom told me that we all are going to attend Hinata's birthday party tomorrow.

Shikaku - Go now Yoshio chan. Women are very troublesome creatures and you should always try to not annoy me as long as you can help it. Remember this..

Yoshio seriously nodded in approval because his mom gets angry suddenly for no good reason and is very scary those times..

Yoshio - Shika, go out and wait for me for few more minutes as I have to talk about something serious with dad now. I promise that we will head to market for buying gifts after that..

Shikamaru - Okay..

Shikamaru ran away immediately because he was feeling excited to go out with his big brother later..

Shikaku - What serious talk my son? You know my friends tease me a lot these days because you act way mature than your actual 5 year old age.. Yare Yare daze..

Yoshio - I'm just intelligent so feel happy instead. Others are just the dumb ones mostly. Okay enough of that now. Dad, I'm worried that those cloud village ninja who are coming tomorrow will try to kidnap Hinata.. I dont think that old man ( Hokage ) will refuse them if they want to attend the birthday party.

Shikaku - Like I said , my son is too intelligent. Yes you're right and I'm more than 90 percent sure that they will really request to attend the party..

Yoshio - What will we do then dad? I read in history books inside the clan library that Cloud village likes to kidnap people with special bloodline limits...

Shikaku - We will do something son. You don't have to worry about something like this. Go and have fun with Shika now..
