VISIT TO MY PAST

Door opens, previous actions… years ago. The day zyron died

"What am I doing here? She said within. She wondered, so the vision fade away.

Another vision of the past, same day Allison died. Out in the beach playing, day darkens.

Appeared right in front of the house hear Allison screaming

"Who… who are you….".

Rushed in quickly, uncovered her, while Pricilla opens the curtain. The sunlight shone on her face. Anita opens her eyes wearily. The sun rays poured into her eyes and she shut them quickly. Gradually opened her eyes gently allowing it to adjust to the light.

"Wakey! wakey! Pretty little dumb! dumb!". Pricilla sat on her bed

"Huh!". Got up in a rush, she grinned in surprise and confusion, also shock

"Anita are you okay".

"Ye... yeah". She stutters, getting up from her bed slowly looking at melody

"Let's get this over with". She said. "I need to go and meet fegrance". She said within

"I would be back". She entered the bathroom, shut the door quickly.

Leaning behind the door, breathing heavily

"I can't believe I witness how Zyron die. And I was at the edge of knowing the person behind Allison's murder, they just had to come". She said looking at herself in the mirror. Picked up her tooth brush when she remembers what she heard, she dropped the tooth brush.

"So I was right, melody is working….".

"What is taking Anita so long". Pricilla said. Anita came outside naked

"Are you serious right now".

"What!".

"You are naked what if…". Couldn't complete her statement when Richard walked in staring at Anita. Her friends bereft of words including Richard ogling at Anita's body.

"This isn't right". Nina whispered.

State of confusion, she finally got dressed

"Can you all stop staring at me now". She yelled gave Richard his phone

"There you can go now". Helped him to the door, and slammed it

"Anita, you have no shame, you didn't even fidget when he walked in, what is wrong with you". Saucy scolds her

"And what is new, for a guy that has dated 17 girls! What do I have that he hasn't seen".

"How cheap". They said unison, just looking at Anita

"Can we go now… we have lectures".

"Behind you". they said

…She picked up her things and they left the room.

"Richard are you okay".

"Am fine… am very fine". Trying to get what he saw out of his head… when Anita and her friends walked in

"Shit!". Got up, went to his chair.

Taking lectures. Melody got up

"I need to easy myself". She steps out

"I think she's going to meet fegrance… I have to follow her". She got up

"I need to use the bathroom too". She walked away

"Is she okay?". Mariana whispered

"Don't know…". Looking at Richard angrily

Lunch break

"Have you seen Anita and melody".

"No". Pricilla went to meet Richard

"Why are you looking at me like that".

"You have no shame… none at all".

"Short lady… you should be telling that to your friend".

"I know Anita can be stupid… but you… no manners. You couldn't even look away". Pricilla snap at him

"What going on". David asked

"You friend, ask your dumb friend". She walked away

"What happen".

"Anita wasn't dressed when I went back to get my phone… that's all".

"Whoa… she's sexy right".

"Don't… don't do that".

"Where did she go?". Looking around. Indistinct chatters, closer look she saw melody… talking too

"Who is she talking to".

"So now what… what should I do". She was the only one who could see fegrance. Anita could neither hear, nor see fegrance.

"Okay… okay. Don't worry. They would be a difference this time". She said. Fegrance left

She sighs… looking around. Moving towards the direction Anita was

"I have to go now". She scurry off

"There you are! Where have you been".

"I-mm…. I was mm…. in the room. I was in my room, playing video games. What about you melody?". She asked

"I went to meet the chemistry teacher".

"Why?".

"On my way to class, she stopped me. she told me to follow her to the lab, to help prepare for tomorrow big project. Me and Hamilton are already walking on our project".

"Nice lie… she didn't even stutter".

"I think my friends are suspicious". She said within

"Seems like fegrance is in her… I need to find my zyron…. before they execute their plan".

Lights out, lay on her bed.

"Please let me see something useful".

"I know this place; I've been here before" whispers

Move further, saw people that has been turned to stone. So many, looking around. She moved further to the front roll… where she saw zyron also trapped. Turn around inscribed on the walls 'the land of zyron'

Open her eyes

"She's not coming". Shivered. Got up from her bed, wondering. Richard got up from his bed

"Why ain't you sleeping".

"Nothing".

"I don't even want to know. We have a project tomorrow and I don't want you sleeping, get it". He entered the washroom.

"Whatever!". She went back to bed

After their project. Anita spent time thinking on how she could get zyron back. Saw melody leaving everyone.

"What is she up to this time. There is no need following her. Saucy!". She went to meet her

"What!".

"I need your help".

"Someone is here to see you".

"Okay!". Anita entered the office

"Gooday principal".

"What a pleasant surprise…".

"Yeah! I have some questions to ask, but first… don't take it personal. Who is zyron to you". Anita asked. Doleful expression

"Guess I can't leave in the past anymore". She said teary. "She was my Gud-mother…. I loved her so much. She thought me everything i know. She was the only woman who truly understood me. and when I couldn't give birth… she was my hope. But she died, and my kids died…. I couldn't…". she broke down to tears.

"Am sorry…". Anita said. "Why did I even ask her?".

"It's okay… am very emotional. Go on with your question".

"After her death…".

"But wait how did you know about zyron?". Anita brought out her picture… the one saucy drew.

"I saw her name listed among the people you valued the most on your biography". She said. Mena collected the picture.

"Who drew this?".

"Saucy!".

"Wow! No error… can I keep it".

"Sure!".

"Thanks!". She embraces the drawing and kissed. Kept it in her purse

"Can i…".

"Sure!". Sniff

"After her death… have you every felt like she was close to you... or something".

"Only when I observe a ritual… but she stopped coming, she stopped responding…. So I stopped".

"Okay… just take it easy on yourself… and always know that we love you".

"Uhh! Come here". Stretch her arms. Embraced Anita.

"I have to go now… and don't cry". Chuckles. Left the office

Days passed, still trying to find a way to bring Zyron out of the chackles of fegrance deadly magic. Melody and fegrance plans remain unknown.

Knock on the door

"Come in". she yelled

"Can you keep it down… you're too loud!". Richard scolds

"Sorry!". She said sarcastically. Pricilla entered the room

"Anita, you know you can tell me anything right…. What's going on, tell me".

"Nothing is going on".

"You are melody has been secretive lately… and am not comfortable with it".

"Nothing is going on".

"I thought as much". She stormed out of the room angrily.

"Gosh… I should tell her… but I can't! I don't feel like telling anyone. Not until I find a way to get Zyron out". She said aloud

"What do I do now". She said within biting her nails
