Missing In Hell

THIRD PERSON

"Humans are hard to predict when it comes to how they feel, am I right?"

Beelzebub nodded as he leaned against the wall. His peach-colored hair covered his face like a weeping ghost. And his cape sprawled out on the solid ground. Asmodeus hissed. It's hopeless trying to start a conversation with a depressed demon brother. He left the golden hallway to the throne room, the center of excellence. His golden cape of fine diamonds with a touch of red followed him as he walked away.

"Mammon!"

The demon cringed at the loud calling of his name. "What are you doing? Sitting on His throne? How many millennials have I told you that His throne is off-limits to toy with." Asmodeus scolded.

"Oh, relax, Asmo. I am only chilling on the devil's throne. I'm not trying to dethrone him." He said while crossing his legs and leaning back lazily on the golden throne with seven crowns of diamonds around it.

Asmo raised a playful and suspicious eyebrow at him. The demon laughed and shook his head to confirm that his intentions were true. He has no plans of doing that. "You better." The demon with the cape warned playfully as he climbed the stairs that led to the devil's throne and sat on one of them with a sigh.

"Is that even possible?" Mammon continued.

"What?"

"You know...to dethrone the devil? Is that possible?"

"I don't know. Do you also wish to establish your government in Hell as well?"

"Nah." Mammon waved off, "Ruling is boring. You know that I am a spirit-free demon. I am not in the mood to handle and take care of about 800 million demons at a time. It's too stressful." He said while playing with the golden goblet in his hands.

"Besides, He has been doing a wonderful job. I don't want to be a competition to him."

Asmodeus nodded in approval, followed by silence.

"Come to think of it, where is His Majesty anyway? It's been twenty years since he disappeared and the demons here are not happy about that. They think we kidnapped him, Can you imagine?"

"No. I can't." Asmodeus answered.

"How can I kidnap My brother? It's ridiculous." Mammon rolled his eyes to prove how absurd that sounds. "Twenty. long. years. Where could he be Asmo? If you ask me, I am tired of explaining to the citizens of Hell that I had nothing to do with his disappearance. I even go as far as lying to them that we know where he is and that the devil is fine and just on a long vacation to god who knows where."

The cup in his hands fell with a clanking sound rolled down the stairs and stopped right at the feet of another demon. Orion.

"The devil is missing?"

Mammon cursed as he sat upright to face the demon that heard what he was not meant to hear.

"The devil is... missing?" Mammon and Asmodeus both exchange frightening looks at the demon that stands before them. His mouth was wide open with shock at his discovery.

How can the devil be missing? Orion thought in disbelief.

Mammon cursed, as he sat upright to face the demon that just heard what he was not meant to hear.

"What did you hear?" Asmodeus rose with a poisonous dagger secured in his left hand. This terrified the young demon causing him to fall to his knees.

"Nothing. I heard nothing, My Lords." He trembled.

"Speak a word about this and my dagger over here would teach you a painful lesson."

Orion shivered as a cold wind fluttered his demonic wings. He put his soul on the line and promised not to speak a word. He was that intimidated. Who was he kidding? He is being threatened by one of the Princes of Hell. Lucifer's closest brothers. They can do and undo anything to him. He can't afford to get on their bad side. He has heard rumors, frightening rumors, and testimonies, about how demons like himself were dealt with when they cross paths with them. He does not want them to be part of his troubles. He swallowed.

"Why are you here and how dare you walk into the throne room without seeking proper permission?" Asmodeus questioned with a hard look.

"Uh...I...I...came to speak with the Lord of Hell, My lord."

"I came to speak with the Lord Of Hell, My lord." Mammon mimicked, earning a warning glare from Asmodeus. This is not the time to crack jokes.

"And?" He emphasized.

"A witch...a witch would like to make a deal with him...My Lord." Orion poured out.

This is interesting. Asmodeus thought.

"Since when did the devil start shaking hands with those magic freaks?" Mammon asked.

"I tried...so hard to make her understand My Lord, but she is different."

Asmodeus chuckled. Of course, she is. They are all different when it comes to seeking favors from the devil.

"Well, as you can also see the devil is not available right now. Please, try again later." And with a snap of his fingers, the young demon disappeared.

"Asmodeus! We have to do something about this! Where is the devil?"

"As you can see we both do not know his whereabouts-"

"We have to look for him!" Mammon demanded. "WE have to look for him."

Asmodeus sighed as he shook his head. That won't do.

"We have to at least try. It's better than doing nothing."

"Where...do you suggest we start looking for him?"

"I don't know." Mammon shrugged. "Anywhere. Anywhere apart from Heaven would be a good starting point." He mumbled and put on his cape as he descended the stairs. "I'll go call the others. Maybe they can be useful for once."

Asmodeus watched as the blue-haired demon waltzed out of the throne room to call the others.

And he thought about his brother, the devil. Where could he be? Or did something happen to him?

NOWEL

Or did something happen to him? I panicked as I paced back and forth in my room. Beginning to get anxious and worried about Michael.

"Nowel!" I winced at the sound of my name. I turned around to find Royal Consort Devi entering my room in a hurry. What happened this time?!

"Illinois and the other council members request your presence in the visitor's room." She said.

"Why?" I cried out

"The Prince of Babylon and his sister are here to ask for your hand in marriage?"

I paled.

"What?!"
