THIRD PERSON

Two bodies were bound in an underground storage room in the castle. Hazel and the White Wizard made their way toward them. Both were clothed in dark red robes and a single torch to guide their way through the darkness.

''What do you say we do to them, young sorceress?'' Hazel smirked at the thoughts and creative ideas that flooded her mind at what they could do to them. Caroline tried her best to break free from the bounds but in vain.

''Should we slit their throats and feed their heads to the monsters of Hell I will summon?'' Caroline let out a muffled cry at the horrible suggestion of the royal wizard. Her watery eyes pleaded for mercy.

''No, old one. They both did a very good job. Without their lies and acting in the court, Our dearest queen would never have been exiled. They deserve a befitting reward for that.''

Elys smiled, very pleased by whatever wickedness was brewing in Hazel's mind.

Hazel faced them and cast her spell, ''Let there be...flames.''

Wild flames erupted from the captive's body. The fires penetrated through the tiniest molecules of their flesh and they both yelled their last cry of pain on earth before they became ashes.

''See, that should be rewarding. Nothing pains more than being burnt alive, am I right?''

The White wizard nodded with a satisfying smile on his face. "Now what?" he asked as they made their way out of the underground storage room, the bodies of Caroline and the dark moon assassin burning behind them.

"We wait. We wait till Her Highness leaves the palace then we would have that demon all to ourselves to do as we please," Hazel answered with pleasure.

"Hmm, I like it."

LUCIFER WRITTEN IN THE THIRD PERSON POV

Foolish men and their shallow minds. Lucifer gritted in anger as the four walls of Hell quaked.

This was not how the lord of Hell expected things to go. Especially the sudden exile of his most vulnerable puppet.

How could they easily believe the lies that a brainless assassin told them without solid investigation?

Exile my feet! Lucifer roared in anger.

What is all this?

''That bloody witch,'' he spat, ''Dares mess with the progress of my plans? It's unacceptable!'' The devil sat down on his throne boiling with rage.

They dared harm Michael, his most prized possession and latest obsession. Well, since twenty years ago.

I will not just sit back and let the freaks of magic ruin my plans. I would show them all that the only time the devil loses is when he chooses to. Satan promised.

He is going to make them pay for this grave obstruction to the progress of his plans.

It's time for plan C.

''What now?'' Mammon turned to face Levi, who had been eating himself up ever since Michael was almost killed.

''I don't know.'' He shrugged.

''What? You are not going to do anything about this?''

Levi sighed as the cold wind rushed past his long hair. Eyes stared at the little town below the hill and very close to the castle.

''It's all my fault.''

Mammon rolled his eyes.

''I should have never stayed in Hell for that long. I never knew he was so weak to defend himself even for a hybrid. He was killed by a mentally ill assassin and a mortal for that matter.''

''Levi, Michael is not yet dead.''

''I know. But it makes no difference. He looked dead when I saw him today. It's heartbreaking.''

''Well...We all make mistakes and you don't have to beat yourself about it. What was Lucifer's reaction when he heard the news?''

Levi brainstormed for a moment before arriving at an answer, ''Unaffected? Which was odd. He just...smiled like a psychopath and left.''

''Really?''

''Yeah.''

Mammon sighed, ''I wondered what he is planning to use Michael for.''

''Whatever it is, the fact remains that we must distance our brother away from the hybrid, and if possible, we keep him away from Michael for good.''

Mammon agreed but noticed the slight confusion in Levi's eyes. The distress. ''What is it?''

''Someone tried to poison Michael not too long ago. I sensed the horrible smell of magic and poison and found it in Michael's wine one night. I was lucky to stop him from consuming it before it was too late.''

''Magic?''

Levi nodded.

''Could it have been the same people that tried to kill him with a magical poison that tried assassinating him?''

''It could be just one person behind all of this or two.''

''Even more.''

''I know that witches hate demons. But going after a hybrid is way too ridiculous of them. They keep disgusting me day by day with their cruelty. But...why?''

''I don't know. We just have to be extra careful and protect Michael from the witches and Lucifer.''
