----Sang----
In a village by the name of Maybrooke, many years before I met Lizbeth in Oshito, a woman by the name of Annabelle lived a calm and peaceful life.
She lived in a humble cottage made from straw and mud. She had a husband and two daughters.
Her husband was a soldier for the great empire where they lived, he had learned a few battle skills and was capable of killing monsters up to tier 3, he had been stationed there to keep the village safe.
His daughters had a knack for magic and had found a master in the mage living in the center of town.
One had a talent for powerfull healing magic, the other was a master of elemental magic. Their teacher was known to be a Master Warlock, capable of casting powerfull spells of many different varieties.
However, his true talent lied in ritualistic magic, he had been able to create a forcefully keeping the local monsters out by sacrificing a few of them.
One day, a noble to came to town. They were clad in purple, expensive clothes. Their shield showed an Amtheum tree, blue in colour, against a red background.
The name of their house was Arbre. Their young master had seen the daughters of Annabelle and had decided that he wanted to spend the night with them.
Anna and her husband could do nothing but watch as the noble's guards took them away.
She however refused to let go, screaming in rage, when the noble caught word of this, he punished her for her disobedience.
He raped her daughters in front of her whilst slowly killing them, afterwards he raped her while her husband was tortured and eventually killed.
The next day, the noble came back and checked something, after seeming dissatisfied he raped her. He kept doing this day after day untill he eventually got his way.
"For the last part of your punishment, you shall raise my child as your own and every year, I will return here to see how it's doing and we shall spend a night together, you shall never marry another nor are you allowed to complete the ritual to put your children and your husband to rest."
With that he left her home, thinking that the next time he'd see her again would be the next year.
Anna, however, had been biding her time, she had asked the teacher of her daughters for a way to bring them and her husband back.
One of the ingredients she had needed was a piece of Amtheum wood. She had hidden the Noble's sword, which was made from this wood, on their last night together.
Knowing he would leave, she went to the Warlock to complete the spell.
He had drawn a massive spell circle in a clearing in the woods near their village, the bodies had been placed in such a way that the circle had three equal parts.
inside this circle a smaller one had been drawn, this one contained the ingredients she had needed to gather, save the wood.
Then in the center, a strange but intricate symbol had been drawn, with a circle just large enough for an adult to stand inside it.
She arrived and the Warlock told her to stand in the circle in the middle.
"Now, this spell may or may not work. I'm not sure, I've just developed it myself at your request but if my calculations are right, it should bring them back.
Thee is one thing you need to know though, to bring them back, you must die yourself. Your life will work as the catalyst for them to return."
Anna nodded in understanding, saying that she would sacrifice herself ten times over to bring them back.
The Warlock started his chant.
"Mwen rele mond lan nanm ede nou nan tan nou an bezwen.
Sèvi ak fil abandone sò sa a pou chanje yon sèl nou ye kounye a,
sèvi ak sann dife sa yo nan flanm eternak pou klere gen etensèl ankò,
itilize sèv yon vye pyebwa pou kite yo viv pi lontan epi kite sakrifis moun yo renmen an retounen lavi a ba yo."
Anna then stabbed herself in the heart with the sword, it pierced through her like she was made of air.
She fell down and blood flowed onto the circle, it started shining, green light could be seen flowing from Anna into her loved ones.
They started twitching, their souls were returning to their bodies. But then, they saw what their mother was doing for them, and refused, they forced the magic to start working on their mother, sacrificing their own souls in the process.
The sword through Anna's heart turned from it's blue colour into a deep purple. Her blood turned black and stopped flowing.
When she awoke, she saw the spell hadn't worked, the Warlock was lying next to the circle, dead.
She was filled with pain, grief and anger. Her tears had become black too, same for her eyes, they were now a black space, no white, no colored iris.
Finally, she noticed the blade sticking out of her chest, she pulled it out, not feeling anything and saw how the wound healed before her very eyes.
Then, she saw a vision, a vision in which she had a miscarriage. Even though she never wanted the child, it hurt her deeply.
Finally, it was too much, her grief had built up too much and she let out a scream so that all could hear her pain.
