Chapter 8: PEACE AND DECISIONS.

Darcie catches her breath and makes her way back to the village to meet with her team. All the civilians that witnessed the attack were in relief since Yegor was put in his place. Ariah led the prince to her place to introduce her parents to him. She said to him, "This is my mother and father, Vasilis and Gracie. We may not look like much, but it's enough to get us through tough times. My mother possesses bat wings due to an incident. That's where I get my bat wings from" Ariah's father, Vasilis Marylinn asked, "This is the one you were telling me about? Kind of doesn't look like much to me." Gracie Marylinn responded, "Stop now, Vasilis. No need to pounder the boy." Ariah then introduced him to her younger brother, Banchi. Banchi was nervous around Taski and hid behind Gracie, Vasilis requested to him, "Listen here son. This place is swarming with messed up individuals who have tried to harm my daughter, she has been harassed and even assaulted by many of the bigger men. I have a request for you. Would you mind allowing my daughter to return to the capital with you?

 Taski realized the seriousness of this responsibility, he felt that this could be the perfect opportunity to help her with her struggles. He responds with great joy, "Vasilis. I will protect her with my life. I will take her with us, and we will give her a place to stay where she will be safe and protected. You can trust me, Mr. Vasilis." Gracie felt the great confidence coming from him, she then commanded him, "You better protect her now." Vasilis said in a strong and commanding voice," Mr. Prince, I better not hear anything about her coming up dead, and you better keep your hands to yourself. Don't even get any ideas. Do I make myself clear, boy?" Taski answered him, "Absolutely!" Taski then took Ariah by the hand and escorted her to his team, they left quickly to return to Asalikith Capital and to set Ariah in a house complex. She was then settled into her new home and was no longer threatened with any harassment, she felt that her prayers were answered, she went about the rest of her day spending time with her brand-new group of friends and family. She saw her life had transitioned into a new chapter. Her heart felt the warm love of her friends and cried tears of joy, "I can't believe this is happening to me, I'm beyond excited about growing into a Knight woman. I am no longer my younger self, but now I am a new kind of woman. My past is yesterday and my future is now." She expressed to everyone.
