Chapter 13: JAPAN'S STRONGEST HEROES.

Our story continues in the capital of Tokyo, which is Shinjuku City. Tesakai was visiting his home to train and prepare himself for the Knight's Exams on the eleventh. He ran into his former girlfriend in the dojo, the two drop their luggage and are startled by their collision. Matsuyama Gina said to him, "Well, I certainly didn't expect to see you in this dojo again. Where have you been? It feels like you skipped town ages ago." Tesakai assisted with gathering his and her luggage off the ground and replied, "I was in Australia settling into my new home, I no longer live here in Shinjuku Tokyo because I have found interest in the other countries of the world and plan to explore the vast and beautiful continents." Matsuyama had noticed the improvement on his body figure and was impressed with his looks as she followed him into an unoccupied room. She sat down and congratulated and asked him, "Well, I see your journey there wasn't a complete waste. I'm very proud of your body transformation. Do you have any plans for the afternoon? I wondered if you'd like to take a walk in the park or grab a drink."

Tesakai simply denied her request and focused on his training instead. She was struck regretfully as she wished she didn't separate herself from him, she then replied, "What? Your training can't be that serious. What's a drink or a walk going to hurt?" She knew he lost interest in her of what she had done to him years ago when they started their relationship. She remembered back in 2067 when they first met at the sushi bar, and they agreed on their commitment to a long-term relationship. Matsyama remembered when she said to him years ago in the past relationship, "I will forever be yours, and you are the world to me, my sweet Tesakai." She remembered the times when he sacrificed his earnings for her when she needed help with her financial shortness. She then apologized to him, "I do want to apologize for the way I treated you back then, I was truly a horrible girlfriend to you. I would like to make it up to you." He looked at her with an undesirable face and told her, "Making it up to me how? You told me back then that I was the world to you, and yet you left me for an unknown reason. You told me that you would forever be mine. I forgive you for this. However, I have moved on from the past, and I'm not looking for a relationship right now. I have better things to focus on."

She accepted this response in a terrible inner regret, wishing she hadn't done Tesakai terribly. She walked away in tears and exited the dojo room. He began his exercise routine and warmed up his training. Five hours into his training, he practiced controlling his lightning ability force, he aimed to have a deep grip on it. His training was intense enough that it could cost him his life, his training required complete concentration. Lightning was very hard to master, anything can trip over and go wrong when taming it. Tesakai grew exhausted and tired, but, pushed on further with determination and the right intentions. His lightning force surrounded him greatly and put giant strains on his body as seconds past, Matsuyama eavesdropped on him secretly and watched as he trained. She felt the urge to stop him since there was much of the noise coming from his room, "You really shouldn't keep doing this, you need to stop. You'll hurt yourself rather than help yourself." He heard the sound of her voice and shouted in demand, " Don't step any closer, if you do, you'll be fried in here!" Matsuyama steps away from the intense heat wave of the lightning force all around the room. Tesakai refocused his attention to his ability force, but was then drained due to his ex interrupting him. He moaned in pain from the lightning force all around him, with his focus lost, his life was at stake with little to no escape. He gathered in his biggest breath and pulled in all his ability force inside of him and regathered himself in relief.

Fifteen minutes later, he took a small break and drank some of his fresh and cold water, however, he heard the sound of Matsuyama's voice talking to another female voice that sounded very familiar. The door then opened to his dojo and seen Sesakayla enter the dojo, he then thought to himself, "(Sesakayla? What is she doing here in Tokyo?)" With surprise in her heart, she asked, "Tesakai? Hey dude, how's it going?" This made Matsuyama feel insecure and angry seeing her interact with him and said to her, "You better not lay your hands on him, you hear!" Sesakayla felt intimidation but restrained herself from expressing how she truly felt and said to her, "Mam, I can just leave if this is an issue for you." Before Matsuyama could say anything else, Tesakai chimed in saying, "Do not pressure her, she is one of my allies I'm working with. She can stay." Sesakayla then put her luggage down next to Tesakai's, unpacking her training equipment as well as her breather, Matsuyama walked away strongly jealous of her due to the body structure she had, she thought to herself, "(Wow! She is more attractive than I am, She has a four pack on her, she has a better look. How unbelievable.)" Sesakayla unpacked everything and asked him, "Do you really mind if I stay here with you and train? If so, could you be my training partner?"

Tesakai didn't mind this but, he wondered as to how he could continue his lightning control with her being there. "Sure, we can train together." He stated. The two discussed a training procedure that could improve both of them, Sesakayla insisted that he would help her with evasion first and then practice hand-to-hand combat. The two agreed and moved into position, before they started, He said to her, "I had no idea you lived here in Tokyo, I never asked you where you were from when we were together in Australia Asalikith. I had many things going on in my head those weeks there." She understood his point and didn't have any hard feelings. She explained about her life in Tokyo before joining the knights, she explained her life experiences growing up and many more. She mentioned to him about her sleeping disorder, "If I go on fighting for long periods of time and then stop for more than five minutes, I will pass out and fall asleep. Occasionally, I'll pass out if I over-do my super strength ability. I can fight as long as seven hours straight." Tesakai was very intrigued with her words and told her, "That's spectacular Sesakayla, I haven't met anyone with such a powerful ability like yours. Training with you will help me improve, while in the same token it'll help you improve as well."

Sesakayla stomped her foot down hard as she formed her Neko-Dachi Cat stance, Tesakai then formed his Zenkutsu-Dachi stance. She charged off at him, throwing multi-punches with fast speed and hard pressured force. He dodged her punches swiftly, he felt the intense wind force coming off her fist, like a missile barrage that kept on coming. He backflipped while she only charged forward at him once more, Tesakai felt as though he had only little room to move around. He thought to himself, "(She has enormous amounts of energy in her, almost like she is already in overdrive, she just keeps moving with her attacks.)" The two practiced their evasion training for an hour; after the hour had passed, the two stopped on their evasion and moved forward to their combat training. Sesakayla says in Japanese, "Go all out on me, I have super strength, so I'll be fine. Don't worry if I'm hurt, I want you to fight me at full force." The two begin their stances, they charge forward at each other in combat. Tesakai wasn't going to hit her with full force, but enough to satisfy her request. They threw fists, kicks, and he uses some of his ability. She doesn't back down in front of lightning, but charges forward with bravery and determination to better herself and to face her fears.

Sesakayla doesn't hold back on her power and unleashes her super strength on him, he catches her fast-moving fist, he thinks to himself, "Goodness, her fist is dangerously powerful. It feels like sharp stone pillars are thrusting at me. I must know her backstory of how she obtained this kind of strength." He swats her fist away and impacts her abdomen, sending her backwards at the wall. She holds her hand on her abdomen but shrugs it off as she rushes over to him and pressures him with her fast fist barrage, she then slams him back, breaking through the wall made from wood. He then feels the rush of excitement and clashes with her outside near the garden of the dojo. The two are at a high speed hand-to-hand clash, as the two are at perfectly matched pace, the gardeners become frightened as the two moved and slammed each other down, even to the point of breaking some vases around the small water fountain. The women around there fled away as the two continued their powerful dual. As the two kept on, Matsuyama caught attention of this and became frightened of their power and fled the dojo building entirely, shouting in Japanese, "I'm Not about to be Caught in all That!" Tesakai charged his lightning strike and struck Sesakayla sending her flying into the water pound a high speed, she jumped up out of the water and charged at him and shouted in Japanese, "Fist of Destruction!" She delivered an incredibly powerful blow to his face, which sent him flying toward the male Furo bath building. The men in the Furo building were shocked, and a massive hole was in the wall which caused most of the structure to collapse, exposing the men as they were relaxing. The men ran out of the building, some ran out without any thought to even clothing themselves first.

Tesakai got up and jumped out of the hole and clashed against Sesakayla with full force. The two slammed and threw fists and kicks against each other at high speed. The two were both equal with their strength and powers, it was enough ruckus to make everyone flee the dojo building. The two jabbed, punctured, and knocked each other down with magnificent force. They both were overwhelmed with exhaustion and tiredness, however, Tesakai clenched his fist together as she lifted herself up breathing heavily, she tightened her fist and her muscles hard. The two raced to each other with their final attack and were both stuck by each other's attack. The two were finished and had no strength left in them. They both fall down aside each other, panting and depleted of all their energy. The manager of the dojo spotted them down but was stoned and speechless of the phenomenal fight. Thirty minutes had passed, and Tesakai woke up outside the dojo building with his and her luggage, he knew they caused too much damage to the place and were kicked out for property damage. Sesakayla had awakened shortly after and noticed all the damages that was done. With fear drowning her, she suggests to him that they both flee the area before anyone had seen them.

The two dash from the scene and disappear from the manager. Tesakai and Sesakayla made their way toward a super mall big enough to fit nine-hundred people, the two ended up in a cafeteria with many others around. She says to him, "Phew, we made it out. I bet the manager will be extremely upset with our damages." Tesakai signs in relief while laid up against a pillar, she asked, "Well, I guess since we're here we can walk around if you'd like to and talk a bit." He agrees to her request and the two walk around the super mall talking about their experiences in Tokyo. He says to her, "I had no idea you lived here. My apologies, but, it's good to know that you are from here, and you're someone I can trust as well." Sesakayla had developed a friendly interest in him and grew trust for him, she replies, "Definitely! It's good to know a strong guy like you is around and is local, Akaio also came along with me as well. She is my non-biological sister since her family gave her away as well as her adoption family. I took her in as my sister even though we aren't related in any way, and me and her have stuck with each other through hell and many storms in our life." Tesakai felt grief in his heart hearing about this, he then asked, "I'd like to ask, what made you and Akaio want to join the Knights? Was it to find new family, friends to call family?" Sesakayla had gloom in her while thinking of her story, she answered him, "Honestly, I would say you nailed it, we saw that many people wanted to join the Knights to serve and protect. She and I were somewhat homeless, we got lucky to sometimes have a place to stay for a single night. We would have to wear the same clothes every day, and we tried homeless shelters, but we almost had an incident with someone there, and we had to leave immediately. Occasionally, we'd sleep in abandoned vehicles or, worse, abandoned facilities. We had no food options either, and I never take delight in stealing from places, but we stole some food just to get us through a few days."

Tesakai knew the deep tribulation they endured to survive. His heart connected to her easily due to past traumas in his life. He said to her, "Sesakayla, I'm deeply sorry for your past, I've never been in a situation like yours and Akaio's but, I can understand your pain; it's an honor to have you two in the Knights." She came in with a friendship hug, with a tight grip, she shed a tear. She then thanked him, "Tesakai, I truly thank you for being who you are." She releases her grip on him and asks, "What's your story, if you don't mind me asking." He hesitated in telling his backstory, with courage and trust in her, he explains, "I really don't share my story with anyone, but, I do believe I can trust you. Anyway, I was a young teenager when I took an interest in fighting, I took many classes to improve. I discovered my ability when I was training one night under my father's supervision, I was instructed to go inside due to the horrific storm approaching us. I felt too determined to finish my reps, which almost costed me my life. Suddenly, I was struck by a huge lightning bolt. I was out for two hours when I was awakened by the healers. Then I had been given my Lightning ability that day. I've sworn to use my abilities to protect the ones around and the ones I love." She was intrigued by his story, she had experienced something similar to his, she responded to him, "I had a similar instance like that too. I was training far too hard, and I nearly ended up killing myself trying to complete my intense workout. I snapped a muscle in my chest, falling out cold. I was awakened by a healer and after that day, I was able to lift many heavy objects, punching holes through walls or objects. Not only that, but I felt super powered."

They both walked out of the super mall, getting away from high traffic to walk to their complex's. Sesakayla asked Tesakai, "I want to know, how would you feel if you and I stuck together as friends? If not, I understand completely. I just think that you'd make a great friend for me and Akaio to have along with us, and we know you well enough. It's up to you, my friend." He felt accepted as he was, as he didn't associate with any family member of his. He said to her with a glad spirit, "I feel as though you and Akaio, as well as the other knights, are really the only family I have now. I will follow you and her wherever you two go, I will fight alongside you, I will help you in deep times, I will accept you and her as family." She then burst out into heavy tears and rejoiced with gladness, she rushed over to him and embraced him deeply with tears flowing down her face. She cried, "Tesakai, you don't understand how much that means to me. I will be with you and all of us, you are a blessing."
